Simone Biles deserves a medal for honesty.
On November 19, the Olympian, 28, posted a TikTok videos who spilled the details of her recent breast augmentation, which was performed on June 16 by Houston plastic surgeon Dr. Kriti Mohan.
Biles revealed that her implants are high-profile 310cc, extra-filled silicone placed under the muscle, which she felt were the “best choice” for a “more natural look.” He explained, “for reference, I’m 4′ 8″, 105 lbs. I also have very broad shoulders. It’s literally the biggest part of my body.”
Although she considered a larger implant size (Biles said they wouldn’t fit inside her body), even the appearance of her current implants shocked her at first.
“They were in my neck. I freaked out, and I talked to my doctor and said, take them out, they have to be smaller, because at first they looked like aliens. But now they’re perfect.”
As for the athlete’s recovery? Well, “you lied. That hurts a lot,” Biles confessed. “Your girl couldn’t move on her own, so I took two whole weeks. I’m glad I did because my recovery was difficult. Not in the sense that I had complications, but more so, the very first day, Jonathan [Owens, Biles’ husband] he had to physically lift me out of bed and take me to the bathroom.” He assumed she had a hard time bouncing because of her muscular build.
It looks like Biles is over the hump now and healing just fine. Because her surgeon did her implants with a funnel device, her incisions are only half an inch and “look really good.”

Biles recently spoke with PEOPLE about the importance of being open about her cosmetic enhancements. In October, the athlete revealed on TikTok that she altered the area under her eyes with a lower blepharoplasty, as well as her earlobe (at the time, she referenced a breast augmentation with cherry emojis, but later confirmed to PEOPLE that she had the surgery).
“I’m just who I am and I feel like I’ve always tried to be open and honest and relatable,” she said, adding that she also feels “no shame” in her admissions.
“And not that I didn’t like how I looked or how I felt,” she clarified. “It’s something I obviously notice a little more because I live in this body, I’m just used to it.”
