Iconic singer Dale Bozzio’s son is raising money to have his mother’s breast implants removed, revealing she is “in constant pain”.
Troy McKenzie, 33, launched one GoFundMe for the Missing Persons singer, 70, saying she needs surgery “as soon as possible” to have her silicone breast implants removed.
McKenzie revealed the 80s rocker suffers from severe capsular contracture, a complication where scar tissue around a breast implant hardens and tightens, causing pain and breast distortion.
“It has left her in constant pain and it is very difficult for her to perform, record or earn a living,” he wrote.
McKenzie added that after the removal, Bozzio will require “reconstructive surgery and an extended recovery.”
The campaign aims to raise $35,000 and has already raised nearly $18,000.

“I always had a special relationship with her. So it saddens me deeply to see what he is going through.’
“The goal is to raise $35,000 for the surgery and post-surgery recovery, which can take up to 3 months. Not covered by insurance.’
He added that “every dollar donated goes directly to Dale’s medical treatments and therapy so we can make her well and get back out there for you.”
