A BALD man joked he looked like Megamind after his head became a big balloon after a £3,500 hair transplant.
Logan Henderson decided to go under the knife to revitalize his thin locks.
He was fighting hair loss from the age of 19.
The 26-year-old booked the procedure on November 1, where surgeons transplanted around 4,500 grafts.
But days after the op, accountant Logan realized recovery would be more complicated than he thought.
He was forced to sleep upright for ten days to protect the delicate grafts – and by the second day, he said his forehead had swelled in size.

He also wore a headband to reduce swelling.
“The recovery was pretty tough,” Logan, from Manchester, told What’s the Jam.
“Sleeping up was difficult for the first 10 days and I didn’t want to leave the house.”
He jokingly said he thought he looked like the 2010 superhero cartoon character.
“I thought it was fine the next day, but the second day I looked like Megamind,” he added.
“Once I took the headband off, it started to fall on my face and it led to some pretty interesting head shapes.
“Every time the band was on it would collect and swell on my forehead and the top of my head.
“On the third day, my eyes were badly bruised and looked like I had 12 rounds with prime Mike Tyson.
“My forehead doubled in size and my right eye was almost closed from the swelling.
“I couldn’t feel my skull for a week because of the swelling.
“The day after the operation I was walking to the train in London with a headband saying ‘I want hair’ and I got a lot of stares and people pushing the person next to them.
“I was hiding when the swelling took off, but I got some funny comments on TikTok.
“People were saying ‘he can remember the future’, ‘he’s very bad in his mind’ and ‘stop overthinking.’
Frequently asked questions about hair regeneration
Anabel Kingsley, Consultant Trichologist and Brand President at Philip Kingsley spoke exclusively to Fabulous.
How long does it take for hair to regrow?
Hair grows, on average, half an inch per month. You can’t speed this up.
Do rosemary and scalp oil massages work?
Oils do not promote hair growth. Regarding rosemary oil, the current trend comes from a small study of 50 men in 2015. There were no women involved, and the study compared the effects of 2 percent minoxidil to rosemary oil. 2 percent minoxidil doesn’t do much
male pattern baldness anyway, so the results weren’t very impressive. However, oils do serve a purpose in hair care treatments. They help add shine and smooth the hair cuticle to lock in moisture and improve styling. Scalp massage alone won’t cure hair loss, but it can relax you, help with lymphatic drainage, exfoliate and help topicals penetrate.
Are there products or foods/vitamins that you recommend someone use or do you eat to help regrow hair?
To support healthy hair regeneration if you are experiencing thinning hair, we recommend Density Preserving Scalp Drops which are clinically proven to help slow hair loss with continuous daily use within three months.
Telogen effluvium (hair loss) due to nutritional deficiencies can often simply be treated with changes to your diet and nutritional supplements such as the specially formulated Density Healthy Hair Complex and Density Amino Acid Booster.
Iron and ferritin (stored iron) in red meat, dried apricots and dark, leafy greens. Vitamin B12 in animal products and fortified foods of plant origin. Protein from fatty fish, lean meat, cottage cheese, tofu, nuts, chickpeas and beans.
However, there may be an underlying cause for their hair loss, and rather than covering it up by using an over-the-counter product, they should be encouraged to seek the advice of a specialist such as a Trichologist.
Logan said he wanted to “look his age again” after he felt his receding hairline made him look a decade older.
He won’t see the full results of the surgery for another 12 months.
Logan added: “I wanted to rejuvenate the hairline and not look like I was 26 years old pushing 36.
“It was at a point where I had to either shave it off or try something else.
“I decided to get a transplant because I didn’t want to be bald and regret not trying something.
“I’ve been losing it since I was 19, so I knew it was in the cards at some point.
“I didn’t realize how soon I would be at the point where it would be too far.
