We all know the ritual of launching a gum stick before a big date, a job interview or to stay awake during a college lecture or afternoon fall. After all, gum is the ultimate multitasker breathing – freshness, calm nerves and even the sharpened focus. This does so well that it has become one of the most common habits in the world, with millions of packages sold daily in flavors ranging from mint to chewing gum.
But beyond fresh breathing and relief, gum has gone viral for another reason: the claim that chewing can simmer the perfect jaw. Here is because this is unlikely, because the defined Jawlines are so coveted and what really works to improve the structure of the face.
Why does a strong jaw matter?

Does chewing gum help your jaw?
While many factors can affect the appearance of your jaw, chewing gum is probably not one of them. “For people looking for more dramatic or immediate results, cosmetic procedures provide a viable choice,” Lin says.
