Certainly this can’t be true! Former England coach and rugby personality David Flatman surprised the fans, revealing that he had a hair transplant at the age of 45.
Taking on Instagram, the famous bald expert shared a snap post-promo, competing with a freshly cut scalp and brand humor.
“I’ve been a bit since my cow’s head felt so very full… 🤕

Those of you who know me as a polite, humble, slightly-very sweet, bald man, can be sure that these features will remain unchanged-except for the last piece. ”
Flatman continued to explain that he had embraced the bald look early in life – but only because he thought he made him look “hard”.
“I pushed my head when I was really young because I thought it would make me look hard and I was right, I only did it when a partner pointed out that I had really gone bald that I realized that the game was gone and I guess I would never know what I would never know.
Now, with the hair restoration technology that is evolving faster than a wing on the break, Flatman has decided that it was time to give him a crack.
“Since then, technology has come so much that bald blocks like me can have another plan in the hair, so I thought, why not? I know so many blocks that they did and have done miracles so I thought I would give him a pop.”
Upon completion of the process, the recovery is ongoing – and Flatman says he has strict commands to get it easy.
“Excited to see the results, but for now I just got to relax and grill – the doctor’s orders … And if it looks shit then I’ll get it back.
As my Nana said in times like these: What would Meatloaf do? ”

Social media accumulates with classic Banter rugby:
- Phil Vickery: “Mate .. won’t be able to take you seriously .. leave the first line under the brother 😂”
- Gabby Logan: “I try to imagine what you are going. Hoping it is David Gino’s 1995/6 season.”
- Tom Shanklin: “I told you first teeth and hair second!”
- Andy Goode: “Welcome to Club Bigun”
- Gethin Jones: “Eat well to you. You’re not sure that the, but excited to see the carpet”
- Jim Hamilton: “I don’t think David.”
Flatman may have lost his hair years ago, but judging by reactions, he has not lost his sense of humor – or respecting his compatriot in rugby circles. Now the waiting game is starting to see what kind of “carpet” it concludes.
