Simone Biles shares breast augmentation before and after photos

Simone Biles doesn’t hide.

The 28-year-old Olympian did a TikTok showing before-and-after photos of her breast augmentation, which she explained “openly, honestly” to PEOPLE in November.

“🍒 transformation,” she captioned the post.

The TikTok begins with Biles standing in her room wearing a low-cut blue halter top and jean shorts, starting with a “before” shot and then transitioning to an “after” clip shot in the same shirt after the procedure.

The gold medalist continues to flash before-and-after footage throughout the video, including bikini angles to show off the cosmetic surgery and clips of her wearing the same top both ‘before’ and ‘after’ to show how the breast augmentation fits clothes differently.

In November, Biles spoke with PEOPLE exclusively about her decision to get plastic surgery and why it’s important for her to speak publicly about the issue now.

“I’m just who I am, and I feel like I’ve always tried to be open and honest and relatable,” she told PEOPLE at the time, before diving into her procedures, why she had them, and why others shouldn’t be ashamed of their decisions.

The issue was discussed after the athlete shared TikTok that she has undergone three plastic surgeries to date and urged her followers to guess the work she had done. However, he noted that two of the three would not be noticeable.

While Biles played coy about her breast augmentation online by simply adding the cherry emoji, she was transparent about her lower blepharoplasty (which reduces tightness from the lower lids and removes excess skin from the upper lids, per Cleveland Clinic) and earlobe surgery.

“Seeing me win medals at the Olympics, that’s not comparable,” Biles told PEOPLE in November. “But what is relevant is how we feel about ourselves, what we talk about, what we go through and how we share openly, honestly.”

“And that’s why I decided to share it,” she said of her social media post.

Biles made it clear that her decision to get a breast augmentation wasn’t because she “didn’t like” the way she looked before the surgery.

“Okay, obviously you can watch the chest,” he said. “But other than that, it’s just about feeling good about yourself and loving yourself, and I’ve always been very vocal about that.”

“And it’s not that I didn’t like how I looked or how I felt,” she clarified, explaining, “it’s just something that I obviously notice a little more because I live in this body, I’m just used to it.”

Biles then shared a message to the younger generation about self-love.

“As long as you love yourself, that’s really all that matters,” she shared.

Shortly after the interview, the star athlete made an indicative TikTok about her breast work. She spilled all the details about the procedure, from the size of her implant to her “rough” recovery and her shocked reaction to seeing herself with implants for the first time.

Biles revealed that her implants are high-profile 310cc, extra-filled silicone placed under the muscle, which she felt were the “best choice” for her “more natural look.”

“For reference, I’m 4′ 8″, 105 lbs. I also have very broad shoulders. It’s literally the biggest part of my body,” she explained.”

Although she considered a larger implant size (Biles said they wouldn’t fit inside her body), even the appearance of her current implants surprised her at first.

“It was on my neck.” she remembered. “I was freaking out, and I talked to my doctor and said, take them out, they have to be smaller, because they looked like aliens at first. But now they’re perfect.”
