Few families in Hollywood have been as scrutinized for their physical transformations as the Kardashian-Jenners.
Both on social media and in press interviews, Kim, Khloé, Kylie, Kourtney, Kris and Kendall have faced endless questions about whether or not they’ve had plastic surgery — and in some cases, they’ve come under fire for denying certain procedures.
From Kylie Jenner’s breast augmentation to Khloé Kardashian’s nose job, we’re taking a look back at all the ‘Kardashians’ star comments about the knife (so far).
Kim Kardashian
Kim has come a long way since her first brush with Botox during a 2010 episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
The reality star wrote on her now-defunct blog that she “I was scared” over bruising on the face after injections.
“I feel like my eyes are on fire,” she exclaimed in the episode. “What if it hits a nerve? Seriously, I know this isn’t normal. What I’m feeling isn’t normal.”
However, she has since admitted to having “a bit of botox” (but “no fillers”) on her face during a Allure 2022 interview and had botox injections in her neck in a 2023 episode of “The Kardashians.”
In the episode, the Skims founder told a voice coach that she couldn’t use her neck muscles to sing because “half of my people have probably had botox.”
As for other procedures, the mother of four has refused performing nose surgery or butt implants, even taking an X-ray of her famous derriere during a 2018 episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” to prove the latter.
Kim has been open about her love of non-invasive treatments, including Morpheus8 to “tighten [her] stomach’ and ‘vampire’ and salmon sperm facial.
At the end of the day, Kim said it’s about balance.
“I always want to look fit,” she told Allure in 2022. “There comes a point where you’ve taken it too far — too much, too tight, too much makeup work. There’s nothing worse.”
However, that doesn’t mean she won’t go to extremes to look youthful.
“I’ll try anything,” she he told the New York Times in 2022. “If you told me I had to literally eat poop every day and I would look younger, I would.
Kylie Jenner
The younger Jenner sister has completely changed her look since she first graced our TV screens — and not just with all those colorful wigs.
After years of denying she had anything done, Kylie finally admitted to getting lip fillers in 2015.
“I have temporary lip fillers. It’s just an insecurity of mine and it’s what I wanted to do,” the then-17-year-old said on a 2015 episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” ending speculation about her plump pout.
In the same episode, Kylie is seen telling a reporter that the secret to her plump lips is mixing different shades of lipstick.
“I’m not ready to talk to reporters about my lips yet,” the Kylie Cosmetics founder said in a confessional during the show, adding, “I want to admit it on the lips, but people are so quick to judge me.”
She also opened up about going under the knife on her now-defunct website in 2015, noting that she was “not against plastic surgery” but was sticking with lip fillers for now.
“Then if I get to a point where I’m really uncomfortable with something about my body, I’m not opposed to changing it,” the reality star added at the time.
After telling the Evening Standard in 2018 that she “probably wouldn’t do anything” to her body, Kylie clarified what she had and hadn’t done in a Interview in Paper magazine next year.
“People think I went under the knife and completely rebuilt my face, which is completely false. They don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers can really do,” she said. “They’re fillers. I’m not denying that.”
Doubled in 2023, telling Homme Girls“I think a big misconception about me is that I had so much surgery on my face and that I was an insecure person, and I really wasn’t!
In a 2023 episode of “The Kardashians,” however, Kylie admitted she had breast augmentation before becoming pregnant with her daughter, Stormi, in 2017.
“I had beautiful breasts. Natural tits. Just gorgeous. Perfect size, perfect everything. And I wish, obviously, I’d never done them in the first place,” she shared.
Kylie also said she would be “hurt” if Stormi “wanted to fix her body at 19”.
In 2024, the star opened up about Ozempic rumors British Voguetelling the magazine she felt the public didn’t give her “or women in general enough empathy” after having her two children.
“I see pictures and people accuse me of being on drugs or something…” the makeup mogul said. “I’m back to the weight I was before I had my daughter and my son and people are putting me next to each other three months postpartum. I’m like, ‘Is everyone forgetting I had two kids and gained 60kg with both pregnancies?’
In June of the following year, Jenner revealed the details of her procedure – “445 cc, medium profile, half under muscle!!!!! silicone!!!” — as well as the name of her plastic surgeon in a TikTok comment.
Khloé Kardashian
Khloé revealed that she got a nose job during the 2021 Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion.
“Everybody’s like, ‘Oh my God, she’s had her third face transplant!’ But I had a nose job,” she told host Andy Cohen during the show.
“Everybody gets so upset, why don’t I talk about it? Nobody ever asked me. You’re the first person in an interview who’s ever asked me about my nose,” the Good American founder continued.
Khloé went on to tell Robin Roberts that her only regret was not going under the knife earlier during “The Kardashians: An ABC News Special.”
“All my life I would say — I’ve always wanted my nose to be done, forever,” the mom of two shared. “But it’s in the middle of your face and it’s scary to think about. But I finally got the courage to do it and I love it.”
As for other procedures, Khloé also said she used “injections — not really Botox” during the 2021 “KUWK” reunion, explaining, “I’ve had a bad reaction to Botox.”
And he mentioned taking filler during one 2023 episode “The Kardashians”, shares in a confessional that she was singled out because she didn’t have the same glamorous looks as older sisters Kim and Kourtney.
“You put on better makeup, you put on fillers, you do whatever — I got a nose job,” Khloé said during the episode, adding, “And there are still people who bully you all the time.”
One such comment came after a social media user compared her to an “alien” and “highly plastic surgery” in a commercial for prescription migraine medication Nurtec.
Khloé responded to the commenter, referring to their Twitter bios, and wrote: “I don’t think you should be labeled a feminist if you unprovokedly attack a woman.”
Like Kim, Khloé has been accused of getting butt implants, responding to one person’s Instagram comment in 2022 writing, “lol silly goose. It’s the legging seam pattern. that’s so funny ha! You guys just want to believe anything bad.”
Kourtney Kardashian
Older sister Kourtney has spoken similarly about her experience with plastic surgery – and her regrets.
The Poosh founder said she got her breasts done when she was 22, telling Showbiz Spy (through Mirror), “If I could go back, I wouldn’t have. I was so cute before.”
“I realized they made me look a little bit different and I’m thinking about removing them,” Kourtney added during the 2011 interview.
She never confirmed any other procedures, but did hit back at an Instagram comment accusing her of getting “a lot of plastic surgery” in 2021.
“There’s no better compliment than a too-good-to-be-true kind of compliment,” the Lemme founder replied, adding, “Bras and Brazilian butt lift, um, thanks. And you were just getting started.”
Kris Jenner
Momager Kris Jenner has gone under the knife on multiple occasions, and she’s not afraid to talk about it — or document her procedures on TV.
She had a breast augmentation in the 1980s “after four children” – as did she he told E!’s “Good Job” in 2015 — but later revised the procedure, opting for “smaller” implants and a “lift.”
“It was great for about 25 years, or 30, whatever, and then a few years ago, I felt like they were too big,” the mom of six revealed during the interview.
Kris went on to say that she “felt motherly and nothing fit her anymore,” so she went to “the same doctor who put them in” to get a more natural look.
Kris has also documented her facelift on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and has undergone laser procedures and earlobe reduction, which was also highlighted on the reality show.
One thing she hasn’t done is her nose, telling ‘Good job’ she was ‘born with it’.
“They say that about all my kids – we haven’t had our noses done,” Chris added at the time.
And while the reality star may not have had a rhinoplasty, she did admit to having “botox and fillers and lasers and things like that.”
In fact, Kris is such a fan of injecting that she once she told People she was giving her friends and family — including her mother, MJ — Botox gift cards for Christmas.
“If you’re responsible and talk to your doctor, I think it works,” he said in the 2019 interview. “It’s something I’ve been using for a long time.”
Kendall Jenner
Kendall Jenner is the only member of the family who has never confirmed that she has had plastic surgery and has flatly denied it on numerous occasions.
The then 18-year-old shut down rumors of a nose job during a 2014 interview with “Extra”, saying, “Come now, people.”
The runway model laughed off the question, noting that “makeup works wonders” and added, “Honestly, people can make something up and really make people believe it, and there’s not much you can do about it.”
In 2017, she took to Instagram Live to squash rumors that she had taken time off after going under the knife, asking: “As a model, why would I reconstruct my face? It doesn’t even make sense.”
