Andrea Ivanova has spent a small fortune on breast augmentation and plastic surgery – but the risks are starting to mount and doctors won’t touch her
A woman has shelled out around £20,000 to enhance her pout – but that’s not the only price she’s paid in her quest to achieve the ‘world’s biggest lips’.
Andrea Ivanova has undergone hyaluronic acid treatments on her chin, jawline and cheekbones, alongside a breast augmentation procedure with 600cc silicone implants. Apart from that, she gets lip filler treatments every month without exception.
The 28-year-old has lost track of how many injections she’s had and spends hundreds a month on appointments. But this is not the only drawback.
Aside from the inherent health risks of such procedures, Andrea is now finding it difficult to locate doctors willing to treat her.
This proves particularly difficult when he needs medical attention – including in “severe pain” from a broken tooth earlier this year.
After visiting several dentists, Andrea was unable to resolve the problem. She explained at the time: ‘They just said they didn’t want to work on my tooth as I have such big lips. It’s clear that they feel disgusted and mocked at me.”
That’s not the end of it either – as the viral influencer struggles to find someone to administer her fillers because they look so dangerous.
While he previously paid £150 for the injections, he now spends £450 to see a doctor in another town.
That works out to an extra £3,600 a year – but Andrea isn’t letting the financial burden put her off.
The former psychology student, from Bulgaria, revealed: “All the aesthetic doctors in my town refuse to give me new fillers.
“Everyone thought it was too much and they were worried about my lips dying because it can cut off the blood flow.
“A lot of them are worried about their reputation.
“The last doctor told me my lips were ugly and blamed himself for their appearance.
“I didn’t answer as I don’t want to argue. So I just found a different doctor.”
Despite warnings from her family and fans about the dangers of such an extreme lip augmentation, she remains undeterred.
She continued: “I will never give up lip augmentation.
“My family doesn’t like these procedures – they see them as harmful – but they’re important to me.
“In addition to adding volume to the face, they also add hydration and keep the tissue fresh.
“I haven’t had any allergic reactions to fillers so far, as my body tolerates them well.
“My new doctor doesn’t mind giving me more so I’ll keep going to him.
“If I have to go abroad in the future, then I will. I will never stop.”
