Jammu, May 29: India’s Institute of Medical Sciences (AIims) has successfully launched the Laser Endogenous Services (EVLA) for the treatment of veins with veins in the vein veins in the section of radial diagnosis and imaging.
The first case was recently held in the state -of -the -art interventional radiology suite (IR), marking a new era of minimally invasive vascular care at the Institute with the support of ED and Managing Director, Professor Shakti Kumar Gupta.
Varicose veins are expanded, twisted veins often affect the lower extremities and can cause significant discomfort and complications if left untreated.
The head of the department and the employee of the Radosian and Imaging Department, Dr. Gita, said “Brindisology at Aiims, Jammos is equipped and will move forward very soon.
Ed and Managing Director, Aiims Jammu, Professor Shakti Kumar Gupta, said the introduction of Evla marks a significant leap forward in the spectrum of invasive radiology services offered to Aiims Jammu. This initiative is part of AIims Jammuís’ ongoing commitment to bring a world -class medical care, focusing on the patient in the area and to establish a hub for advanced invasive procedures in the future.
Evla, a minimally invasive ultrasound process used by invasive radiologists, uses laser energy to close these problematic veins, offering patients a safe and effective alternative to a daily care process. It is almost a sphere and no stitches process with good treatment results and faster recovery time.
The procedure was performed by a team of specialized radiologists led by Dr Ankit Prabhakar, Assistant Professor, Radio Diagnosis and Imaging with other members of the School, senior residents, nurses and other staff members.
Speaking about development, the Radiologists team in the Radosian and Imaging Department underlined the importance of such advanced interventions to address vascular health issues in the area.
Patients with vein veins are systematically evaluated in IR OPD in AIIMS. Patients with symptoms such as foot edema, pain, skin changes or visible varicose veins are encouraged to consult the invasive OPD radiology on AIims Jammu for evaluation and eligibility for EVLA, the group shared.
In addition, the launch of IR OPD is the first of its kind in the entire territory of the J&K Union with AIims Jammu Pioneering itself.
“The new service is expected to benefit a large number of patients suffering from chronic venous insufficiency, especially those looking for modern, non -surgical treatment options, it has been reported.
The dedicated Evla workshop on the IR Suite is equipped with state -of -the -art technology, ensuring high care and procedural safety standards.
This is the first IR Care Center in Jammos to provide such minimally invasive treatment options to patients.
