Analyzing 122 patients at a mean follow-up of 18 months, the study used standardized photographic measurements and multivariate modeling to test whether graft offset position (laterality) causes asymmetry. The results? No statistically significant difference in symmetry found based on graft laterality—a finding that challenges some conventional surgical assumptions and reinforces the critical importance of structural support and balance.
