We all want to look youthful without putting in too much effort.
With so many lotions, filters, and expensive beauty treatments out there, it can be hard to know what really works.
However, one skin improver has revealed that you don’t need to splurge on expensive products to reduce fine lines.
In fact, it has replaced Botox with a much more affordable option that you can easily purchase on Amazon.
Arielle Lorre interviewed by Eliz Endres on The Wellness Podcast where the pair discussed all things ‘Botox’ and ‘natural alternatives’.
Arielle revealed that instead of using anti-wrinkle injections, she now uses facial tape.
A package, which includes 60 pieces of facial tape can be bought from Amazon for £4.99 which makes it 8p per cassette.
The anti-wrinkle strips are applied overnight and stick to areas with sagging and wrinkles on the face.
It aims to smooth wrinkles around the eyes, forehead and mouth by lifting the skin.
It also comes with a facial neck band that can enhance the smoothness of your face and make your skin look radiant and refreshed.
Speaking on the podcast directly to Eliz Arielle, who appears to have glowing, wrinkle-free skin, she says: “Face Taping is my jam.”
She continues: “If you had told me 14 months ago that I wouldn’t be getting Botox and taping my face, I would have been out of your mind. Absolutely not.
“I use this Japanese facial tape and my routine is so simple.
“I do three stripes vertically across my forehead and then one diagonally next in each eye because I’m sleeping again and it pops this area. And that’s all.
“I do it two or three times a week in the evening. It takes two minutes.
“I put it on top of my skincare and wake up and things are smooth. It’s pretty crazy.”
The video, which was shared on TikTok, gained a lot of attention with many people rushing to the comment section to share their thoughts.
One beauty fan praised her technique and wrote: “Same. I’m 53 and seeing results daily. I use scar tape.
“I also use beaver oil with frankincense oil mixed under tape. My skin is so soft when I wake up and the wrinkles are gone.”
A second commented: “I love this, I’ve changed the face taping too.
“I swear, I see absolute changes in my face and I haven’t had botox in over three years.”
While a third added: “I love the face and mouth taping! Oral tape makes my lips look finished.”
How much does Botox cost?

BOTOX and anti-wrinkle injections are one of the most popular cosmetic treatments available today.
Botox injections work by weakening or paralyzing certain muscles or blocking certain nerves.
Results last about three to twelve months, depending on what you are treating.
THE NHS The website estimates that each botulinum toxin injection costs £150-£350 per session.
The price varies depending on how much is used per session, they add.
Botox prices vary depending on where you go to get it done and the number of areas treated.
Some companies offer an area for around £200 and most offer packages if you want to add more areas to your treatment.
It pays to do your research before undergoing treatment – and remember that going ‘cheap’ isn’t always a good idea.
