Plastic Surgery is almost a passer -by -passage rite for Our friends in South KoreaWhere everything, from the eyelash surgery to the shaving of the sources, is accessible and fair. In the US, it is a slightly different story, but anyone with deep insecurities and deep pocket books can easily go under the knife – or laser or liposuction vacuum – chase the perfection in the mirror. And in recent years, plastic surgery has been extended beyond traditional nose work or face lifting. Here are four of the most controversial and painful plastic surgery “trends” of recent memory:
1. Weapons like Michelle Obama
The First Lady has put the focus of Triceps tones and a new report from the American Plastic Surgeon Society claims that more and more Americans are choosing a strange process called upper arm. In 2012, more than 15,000 patients (98 %) spent a mind that dropped $ 61 million to have fat -liposuction fat. THE Los Angeles Times notes That the process – called bracelet – “includes the placement of an incision from the armpit to the elbow, usually along the back of the arm, to remove excess skin”. In other words, it is the perfect quick repair if you are religiously opposed to dumbbells, cardio and food a healthy diet.

2. Artificial edge
Who doesn’t dream of being taller? That is why some masochists – mostly men – go to extreme, painful lengths to add two to three valuable inches to their contexts. The grotesque procedure requires a doctor to break the patient’s bone and insert a telescopic rod. The rod gradually pulls the bone – about 1 millimeter per day for three months straight. This adds height to the legs, while the bones, nerves, arteries and potentially infectious bacteria fill the gaps slowly. A man, who went from 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, described the irritating test as “the worst decision I made in my life”. All yours for $ 85,000 and at least six months of immobility.
3. Chinplants
If weapons and long legs are not your thing, what about a more intense jaw? In 2011, ASPS claimed that the DU Jour process was something called “Chinplant”, whose popularity increased by 71 % compared to the previous year for reasons that science will never understand. For $ 2,000 to $ 5,000, surgeons will take a scalpel on your lower lip or chin and introduce an implant to the soft tissue to create a more valid jaw. While it will probably not make you the chief executive of a Luck 500 companyThinking goes that at least you will look like one of your neck on your lower lip.
4.
Summer is almost here, which means it’s time to take off the flip flops. And if you think about your toes, ugly or otherwise incomplete, please don’t be one of the hundreds of Americans choosing to have their little one The pigs shaped in a more enjoyable model. The process has introduced the term plastic-surgery to end all the terms-“toe-besity”-which, let’s be real, may be the most stupid reason to get plastic surgery. While getting rid of something as uncomfortable as a hammertoe is perfectly understandable, electing to have $ 2,500 toe surgery only for vanity is worth nothing but contempt.
