A WOMAN who has already had 13 plastic surgeries has explained why she is now undergoing a second BBL.
Scarlet Black has documented the procedure, which she had done alongside full-body lipo, on her TikTok page.
She underwent the surgeries in Istanbul, Turkey, but was bombarded with questions about why she had yet another Brazilian butt lift, so she answered the another video.
Explaining that her operation had started as a ‘corrective’ to get rid of her loose skin after losing 13 stone, Scarlet said: ‘I’ve had an arm lift, a thigh lift, a periareola.
“I had three breast surgeries, extensive abdominoplasty. I did muscle repair, then I did a lower body lift, so a butt lift.
“Then I had my lipo and my BBL, my first.

“To achieve the desired look, you usually need two BBLs because a lot of the fat that is re-injected into your buttocks actually dies about 50%, sometimes more.
“It’s different for everyone.”
Despite this, Scarlet said she was delighted with the ‘before and after’ of the first BBL, which she said focused on ‘my bum’s shape’.
“That’s what we focused on lifting and bulking up,” he added.
Scarlett did not reveal how much she had spent on her latest operation.
However, in September last year, she estimated she had spent around £31.5k on her makeover – spending an entire down payment on the house for the work.
She first went into surgery when she had a gastric sleeve in February 2021, to help her lose an incredible 13 stone.
After that, Scarlett’s confidence skyrocketed and she decided to have a tummy tuck, muscle repair, arm liposuction, as well as an arm lift which was later committed to November 2021.
In March 2022, Scarlett booked her breast augmentation, which added another dent to her £30k, costing her £6,000.
Following her surgeries in March, she later returned to Turkey in August 2022 to have a thigh lift and breast augmentation, which cost £7,000.
What are Brazilian Bum Lifts and why are they so popular?
Buttock enlargement surgery – known as a Brazilian bum-lift (BBL) – is used to make the bum look bigger, rounder and lifted.
Surgeons transfer fat, inject filler, or insert silicone-filled implants.
It is the fastest growing cosmetic procedure but also one of the most dangerous, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
Many patients travel to countries such as Turkey or seek unregistered surgeons in the UK and are not fully informed of the risks.
BBLs carry the highest risk of all cosmetic procedures – with more than one death per 4,000 procedures.
Because of celebrities undergoing such procedures, many women hope to emulate their appearance.
Consultant clinical psychologist Dr Anu Sayal-Bennett, Chartered Fellow of the British Psychological Society, said the BBC: “Despite the fact that there is so much about body positivity, there are pressures on women — and men, too — to look a certain way.”
Many travel abroad for the procedure because it is cheaper and the advertising is “terribly seductive”, coupled with the idea of a beach holiday, Dr Sayal-Bennett added.
A year on, the 27-year-old returned to her surgeon this August to add some curves to her body with her first BBL and another breast job, costing her £8,000 and draining the rest of her deposit.
In an interview in February 2024, Scarlett admitted that she had undergone 13 surgeries so far.
