3D Systems has announced innovations to enhance the portfolio of its digital dentistry: new materials, the Nextdent Base and the next cast and a new printing platform, the NextDent LCD1. These offers help company customers accelerate the adoption of add -ons as part of their work flows and lead to new levels of speed, productivity, efficiency and accuracy, while providing opportunities to improve patient experience.
New materials
The 3D Systems offers the wider portfolio of the 3D printing materials industry that allow dental laboratories and clinics to deal with a broad range of applications such as discs, orthodontic and predecessor models, surgical guides, dentures, orthodontics, orthodontics. The company announced the following improvements:
- Next base It is suitable for printing all types of denture removable bases. This material is the third generation of the company’s denture material for 3D printing and has excellent mechanical properties. The next base is comparable to conventional denture base materials and will provide patients long -term impact resistant dentures. The NextDent Base will be available in four colors to match a variety of aesthetics and is planned to be available to order in selected purchases later this year.
- Next cast It is a 3D printing material without residues, suitable for various applications such as RPD, crowns and bridges. The latest version that produces blue components allows improved printing and easier combustion and provides a Castable place that is stable and powerful. The next cast is available for immediate order.
NextDent LCD1 makes digital dentistry more affordable for clinical doctors
The 3D systems redefined digital dentistry with the introduction of the next 5100. Built on the company’s high speed printing technology and the utilization of the performance of its portfolio of materials, the next 5100 can handle the range of ranks that lead to unparalleled precision, repetitive costs.
The company is now pleased to offer the next LCD1, a smaller footprint, a handy printer designed to offer high quality results. The compact imprint combined with the simple touch screen function makes this ideal printer for use in small office environments where production volumes can be less demanding. The NextDent LCD1 uses LCD technology and features automatic calibration to deliver components with a smooth finish, three times faster than possible with stereolithography printers (SLA). When combined with the company’s resins and the new Wash & Cure for post-processing, clinicians have an easy-to-use work flow that offers high quality results. Next LCD1 is available for immediate order.
