With a career spanning decades, Lisa has cemented her status as South Florida’s leading authority on entertainment and lifestyle reporting. His impressive portfolio features interviews with a plethora of A-list celebrities, including Tom Cruise, Paul McCartney, Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, Sting, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Hanks and many other luminaries.
Beyond her entertainment coverage, Lisa is the charismatic host of CBS News Miami’s immensely popular segment, “Taste of the Town,” dedicated to showcasing South Florida’s booming culinary scene.
Additionally, she delves into the fields of fashion, travel, and various other lifestyle trends, enriching the lives of her viewers with her dynamic reporting.

She is the proud recipient of three prestigious NATAS Emmy Awards, two of which were recognized for her exceptional writing skills and one for her captivating on-camera performances.
Outside of her professional activities, Lisa is deeply engaged in various charitable causes, providing support to organizations such as Ellie’s Army, Breakthrough Miami, Little Lighthouse Foundation, and The Diabetes Research Foundation, among others.
In 2014 and 2015, Lisa’s sense of style and cultural influence earned her a coveted spot on Vogue magazine’s “Vogue 100,” a select group of tastemakers handpicked by the magazine’s editor-in-chief. , Anna Wintour.
Lisa’s contributions to the arts community were recognized in 2015 when she was honored by the NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale Beaux Arts Group for her unwavering dedication to the promotion and preservation of the arts.
A milestone in Lisa’s career came in 2016 when she received the prestigious Silver Circle Award from the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).
This prestigious award is given to television professionals who have made significant contributions to the industry over a period of 25 years or more. Additionally, in the same year, Lisa received the Media Excellence Award for “Best Entertainment Reporter” from Columbus High School’s CCNN Live student broadcast program.
Lisa’s professional journey began in 1986 when she took on the role of Communications Manager for the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau. \
In 1988, she embarked on her television career as a producer at WPLG-TV, eventually rising to the position of the station’s entertainment reporter. Following her tenure at WPLG, Lisa became a national correspondent for the NBC show “Real Life.” In 2001, she joined the CBS News Miami team as an entertainment and lifestyle reporter, where her talents continued to shine.
Lisa is not only a dedicated journalist but also a devoted mother. She and her husband Bill have two children.
She holds a BS in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Marketing from the University of Miami.
