(CNN) – Beverly Hunt is an engine and a stir. A public relations manager who manages her own business at Laurel, Maryland, Hunt believes it looks good. Keeps active and stays in shape.
Try as it could, Beverly Hunt could not get rid of her cellulite.
But it has a small problem that leads her crazy: no matter how much she exercises, she cannot get rid of her cellulite.
“I’m in the mid -40s,” he admits. “And no matter how well you try to take care of yourself and what your weight is. What I have noticed is that your body is changing and I have some cellulite, especially in my thighs.”
Cellulite: The word women are afraid of and men rarely observe. More than 90 percent of women develop some kind of cellulite during their lifetime, while few men ever experience “Cottage Cheese” thighs.
Doctors believe that this is due to the fact that estrogen plays a major role in cellulite formation: it seems that excess estrogen causes the weakening of connective tissue, which allows fat to swell under the skin, creating cellulite.
“Whether it’s thin or heavy, a gymnast or a sofa potato, cellulite is one of those things that most women face,” says Dr. Howard Brooks, a professor at Howard University in Washington, DC and the cosmetics director of Skin’s cosmetics. “It doesn’t matter if this woman is black, white, Asian. It doesn’t matter if this woman eats properly. She does everything right – cellulite can still grow.”

Because it may be genetic, doctors say that one of the best ways to judge how much cellulite you will grow as you grow old is to look at your mother’s thighs.
“I would say there is a piece of cellulite running in the family,” Hunt admits with a smile.
Brooks says there are some things you can do to limit your cellulite:
Stop smoking. Damage lighting connects the connective tissue, which causes teas.
Watch your weight. Fat is fat. The more fat you carry, the more cellulite.
Exercise of legs and buttocks. “Instead of all these fancy creams and quick corrections, they invest in a corridor,” says Brooks. He explains that exercise can stabilize the skin. Cellulite is “still there, but it reduces appearance,” says Brooks.

Eat smart. But Brooks says that no specific food can increase or reduce cellulite. “Nutrition doesn’t really play a role,” he says. “I say this, but I say it with warning: you want – only for general health purposes – eat right, of course.” Maintaining a healthy lifestyle reduces the appearance of cellulite.
Because women hate the appearance of cellulite, the myriad “treatments” and “treatments” have been underestimated, ranging from dietary supplements and cellulite creams to mechanical processes. But health experts agree: There are no permanent solutions.
Although the American Academy of Dermatology is aimed at the myths surrounding cellulite and its many supposed treatments, the group does not provide tips on how to get rid of it. AAD warns women that liposuction, a very popular process of removing excess fat, does not relieve the body of cellulite. This is because after liposuction, fat eventually replaces itself in the body. Liposuction can really make the appearance of cellulite worse by the physical breakdown of connective tissue, which creates even more skin depression.
There are two FDA -approved laser treatments designed to break down fat to temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite: one combines the treatment of light with suction. The other combines the treatment of light with massage. The disadvantages? Both treatments require multiple sessions – as well as maintenance therapy – to create and maintain the result. And it is accurate: a series of treatments can cost more than $ 2,000 and the results are temporary.
Although Brooks is trying to explain to his patients that cellulite is one of those things you need to live in, he will recommend the FDA-approved treatment consisting of massage treatments and laser-but only to patients who are desperate to get rid of their cavities.
“The reason why it works is, we squeeze the tissue and push that fat and cellulite so hard that we can redress it and no longer on the upper layer of the skin-is on the lower layer, so we can no longer see it,” Brooks explains. “But unfortunately, this is not permanent, and you need many treatments. There is no miracle.”

But Beverly Hunt believes in miracles. He is currently undergoing a laser massage massage. It feels it is worth it. Anything, she says, to get rid of her right body from the drug to her thighs – even for a while.
“Well, it’s not a good look,” says cellulite, especially in the swimsuit era. “It’s not really. I’m at age where one pieces are necessary, but I would like to know this-if you spend time to exercise and try to eat properly-you’ll look at least healthy.”
