These young patients with lower eyelid men and women-may have tried the Undereye Filler or are simply not interested in injections, preferring to jump right into a much longer solution. Despite its promises and immediate reputation (with only one needle, no more swelling!), Undereye filling has become a somewhat controversial process. It may be ideal for the right patient, but usually one is more interested in dealing with chronic black circles than protruding bags. ‘If one has a strictly hollow [under their eyes]Complete tears is a reasonable choice for volume to provide an existing cavity, “says Dr. Diamond, but it can also bear the risk of tracks, simulations and a blue color (called Tyndall Effect) to the thin skin of the Underye area.
So it may not be so strange that the surgeons have noticed an increased “shift from short-lived injectable-aids,” says Dr. Kolker. Complete has been criticized for Undereyes, Dr. Diamond adds, “because it has not always provided the desired results – and causes worse counterproductive issues when it is incorrectly performed.”
Patients in their 20s and 30s interested in lower blepharoplasty usually try to cope with bags and swelling or saying that their eyes “look like their mom’s eyes,” says Dr. Schwarcz. In more technical terms, these younger patients are motivated by the desire to correct “a contour defect,” he adds. “It means that there is a puff and a drop, or a ‘mountain’ and a ‘valley’ under the eye.” For these patients, swelling is usually something they were born. It is genetic and has a very little relationship with age. In some ways, these young, younger patients may be better suited to reduce blepharoplasty, technically speaking by the most traditional middle -aged candidates. For more and more young patients, lower blepharoplasty are attractive for their ability to deal with swelling that can simply be part of their anatomy (sometimes swelling can come with age). “Even at a very young age, you can have this outline of the contour under the eyes,” says Dr. Byrne. Lower swelling and constant shadows are usually genetic and can be visible even in teenagers, but this does not suggest that one deliver lower blepharoplasty as high school graduation gifts. Surgery, “Generally you want to think about dealing with this when you have exhausted other options,” says Dr. Kolker.
These other options include tightening treatments in the office (such as CO2 laser) or chemical peels to help normalize and tighten the lower lid. But scalpel choices will not always make a really remarkable difference. “The more swelling, the less than a candidate they are for non -surgical options to really improve their problem in an effective, long -term way,” says Dr. Diamond. Complete cannot do much to help the protruding bags under the eyes, but “if a patient has a thin swelling, adding filling to the surrounding area that is hollow can bring these areas forward, reducing the appearance of the swarm and making the area smoother,” says Dr. Dr. “You can make Undereye filling in literally five minutes and you can go out and go to dinner that night, which fits a lot of people who are like,” I can’t be out for a week.
