It’s like trying to perfectly execute a sharp liquid cat-eye on the train to London — it requires absolute, unflinching precision.
You have one gooey piece for the top, another for the bottom, and immediately they try to fold in on themselves, vaguely tasting of mint and hydrogen peroxide.
For the required 30 minutes, you are strictly prohibited from talking, drinking or engaging in distracting activities.
It’s weird, but it’s worth it in the end.

Wearing the strips means enduring the light squeeze of sensitivity, which is just the hydrogen-powered whitening engine ready to burn off those years of stains — or maybe just the last two weeks of latte foam.
It’s uncomfortable, slightly uncomfortable and absolutely not relaxing. But then you peel them off, and that’s when you get your teeth back — sort of.
These stripes do not suddenly “whiten”. They offer a small upgrade.
You go from the shade of slightly old Dijon mustard to perhaps a more current, fresher shade of beige.
Suddenly, my teeth were maybe a shade or two lighter, putting them in the “non-offensive” category.
They are certainly not blinding, but they are slightly less noticeable.
Importantly, unlike whitening trays I’ve used in the past, my teeth weren’t throbbing with sensitivity after the treatment, which is a huge win.
