Farmer died on July 24, three days after being rushed to hospital.
At the time, her cause and manner of death were pending from the medical examiner’s office.
In July, police said the death was under investigation.
Officers noted that the dental office was “very cooperative” throughout, but the case would “take some time” to resolve.
Three months after Farmer’s death, the medical examiner’s office announced in October what had caused the young woman’s tragic end.
The farmer’s official cause of death was complications from tooth extraction surgery.
The secondary cause of death was related to ARID1B gene mutation and neurological abnormalities.
ARID1B is a rare genetic disorder that can cause developmental delays and disabilities.
Those with the mutation will likely need ongoing care throughout their lives.
There is no proven association between the disorder and anesthesia.
