All relationships take care of both your effort and breast implants are no different! With modern implants designed to last over a decade, this is a relationship you will want to love in the long run. Of course, the high degree of satisfaction among patients with breast implants is not an accident, it is all part of a comprehensive, weak approach to keep you in love with your implants.
The modern breast implant
There are two main types of implants, silicone and serum. The saline implants are full of salty water, while modern silicone implants are made with coherent gels.
“I tend to use silicone implants for their natural feel and appearance. Especially the newest coherent gel or” Gummy Bear “types, which provide improved safety in the event of a rupture,” says Dr. Preminger. “This is what I am saying, I always personalize my recommendations based on the patient’s anatomy, goals and lifestyle.”
Previous planning prevents poor performance
Avoiding the complications and possible points from the leading points heading is all part of the approach, where careful design from top to bottom ensures the best result now and in the long run. “The best results come from thoughtful design,” says Dr. Preminger. “I’m talking to patients not only about what looks good now, but what will age over time.”
And this design must start at the beginning of the process by choosing an implant.
“Choosing an implant that fits in the patient’s frame is critical – excessive increase increases the risk of waving, getting out and discomfort,” explains Dr. Preminger. “I also consider the thickness of the tissue folder, the quality of the skin and if a lift is required to support long -term results.”
The largest is not equal to better
When it comes to implants, there is a reason why professional experts and breast implantation brands constitute a series of options that fit your body.
“A larger implant does not always equal with a better result,” says Dr. Preminger. “Oversized implants can stretch the tissue, accelerate the fall, cause back pain or neck and lead to abnormal effects.”
Taking into account your thoracic wall and body, it produces more balanced physical appearance effects.
“My goal is always harmony, which strengthens the body without neutralizing it,” notes Dr. Preminger. “It’s not about hunting a number. This is about achieving a balance.
Addressing patients’ concerns
“Modern implants are safer and more durable than ever. But they are not life devices, explains New York Plastic Surgeon Aviva Preminger, MD.” While their manufacturers score to last 10 to 15 years, some patients may need a review earlier due to aging, weight changes or personal preferences. “
“Patients sometimes express concerns about breast implant disease (BII) – a constellation of symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog pain or joints,” notes Dr. Preminger. “While the survey continues and the connection is not fully understood, I take any concern seriously.”
Although BII is not an official medical diagnosis and cases are not necessarily common, this does not mean that the symptoms reported by women are not real. “Careful listening, validation of patient experience and offering appropriate processors or referrals are the key,” he adds. Preminger.
The state of the implant relationship
Just like some of our basic relationships in life, your implants require attention and maintenance. “Patients should think of breast implants as a commitment that may include maintenance or review over time,” says Dr. Preminger. “As we grow older, our bodies change and sometimes our aesthetic preferences make the patients open to re -examine their goals every 10 years.”
And for the safety of patients, Dr. Preminger advises to get stuck in the recommended FDA imaging program to check for silent ruptures. “Starting from five to six years after OP, patients should receive magnetic resonance imaging or ultrasound for detecting silent rupture and then every two to three years later,” he says. “Even without symptoms, it is wise to remain preventive. I recommend my patients to see me once a year for an exam.
We all know that maintaining a healthy and happy relationship can get work and maintenance, but the impact is worth it. For breast implants and their love in the long run, your happiness over time means having a surgeon expert on your part and proper care from the design process to maintenance and replacement of the device. From beginning to end, your goals, emotions and experiences need to be taken into account and respond, ensuring that your experience is positive all the way.
