Joy Corrigan made the monumental decision to have her breast implants removed earlier this month and has now decided to reveal the grueling process behind what is known as ‘implant surgery’.
The former Victoria’s Secret model—who is also a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit star and Playboy Playmate—documented her health journey in a recent video she shared on TikTok and Instagram.
Corrigan, 35, previously said she was ready to be open about her decision in an effort to spread awareness about “breast implant disease” and shine a light on the truth of life with implants.
Similarly, last year former race car driver Danica Patrick also recorded having her breast implants removed, seven years after suffering health problems including hair loss, weight gain and dizziness.
In her recent video, Corrigan thanked the team behind her implant surgery as she showed the various stages of recovery.
“I was terrified to go into surgery, but once it was done there was a huge sense of relief and freedom, I immediately knew I had made the right choice and I was so glad I trusted my intuition,” she explained.

And she promised to share more of her journey with her 951,000 followers.
“Stay tuned as I post more videos showing you my entire journey. THANK YOU to everyone who has sent me love and support right now, I don’t know what I would do without my family and friends and Ted.
The Reprisal actress also narrated the video of her breast implant removal.

“I’m so grateful to him,” she said in a photo of the pair embracing before her surgery.
