The transparency of a woman about her blepharoplasty has drawn the attention of millions.
Jucélia do rocio chiquim He underwent cosmetic surgery, a procedure that removes excess eyelashes at the end of 2023. Nearly two years-and two other non-invasive procedures-later, he shared the recovery process in Tiktok and have become viral ever since.
Brazil -based educator and journalist, 36, tells people that the decision to take the surgery was years in production. “Since I was very young, I had a problem with the eyelash,” he says, adding that it was “something that always made me feel uncomfortable when I saw in the mirror.”
“There was no really turning point” that led her to get the process, she adds – “It was more a daily process.”
In November 2023, after consulting two different medical professionals, Rocio Chiquim headed to Barigui’s Ophthalmology Hospital in Curitiba, where an ophthalmologist (eye surgeon) performed a higher and lower eyelid for a total cost of about 1,300 dollars. Later he followed the surgery with two Plexr Plus sessions “a non-surgical method of treatment that helps to elevate eyelids and wrinkles”, according to the employee Plexr website – In July 2024 and July 2025.
“The surgery itself was smooth,” the experience recalls. “I was a little worried at first, but the medical team was very careful and made me feel safe, I had no significant issues, only the usual swelling and some bruises during the recovery process.”
At the end of July, he shared the combined results of surgery and subsequent treatments in a collection Tikitok – Introducing bruises, swelling and everything in between with full power. The 1 minute video ran to 1.7 million views and over 120,000 sympathetic.
The commentators shared mixed reactions to surgery and video, including many people who called the results “beautiful” and “incredible”. Another wrote that Rocio Chiquim looks “15 years older” after.
Others expressed admiration for its dedication, stating that the recovery – and the drastic, although temporary, changes to the appearance that comes with it – would be too much to handle.
But for the journalist based on Curitiba, it’s worth it, Rocio Chiquim tells people.
“The most uncomfortable part of the recovery was itching during the healing process,” he says. “During the healing process I generally felt fine, but a little anxious and annoyed by the itching in [affected] area. Apart from that, I felt calm and relieved as I began to see the results gradually appear. ”
Apart from itching, however, “everything else went pretty smoothly,” he says, adding that overall, “it took about a month to feel completely healed.”

Snaps’ fully healed complete her transformation videos in Tiktok, where the journalist is also vocal for how happy she is with how the area of the eye is taking care to undergo the procedures.
“I feel very pleased with the results now,” Rocio Chiquim tells people. “It is worth the process because I feel more confident and comfortable with my appearance.”
And others – not just online – have also shared rave reviews, he adds. “My friends and family had very positive reactions,” he says. “They noticed the difference with congratulations, and some even asked for a recommendation that made me happier with my decision to have the surgery.”
“By no means I’m sorry to choose the blepharoplasty,” he adds. “There were minor difficulties during the recovery, but the results were completely worth it.”
