In a cool close call, 42 -year -old British holidaymaker Steve Ellis says he suffered a strong electric shock to the hotel’s Egyptian room that could be fatal because of his dental fillings. Ellis was in a ten -night shelters at Coral Sea Imperial Sensatori in Sharm El Sheikh when he unintentionally touched the bed lamp, causing a severe electric shock that brought him violently on the ground.
Searching for the horror of the event, he explained that, although the shock lasted only 15 seconds, the doctors later told him he had almost died. The electricity passed through the metal fills to its teeth, leading to severe burns in its mouth.
Steve recalled: “I am filled in my mouth so that the electricity goes up there – it burns my mouth,” he added the painful detail that “if I were not able to get out of the lamp, then I would have been burned alive.”

Steve said he was getting out of bed, accidentally touching the lamp with his left hand and experienced an excellent electric charge that broke his hand in it. In his panic, his right hand became similarly trapped when he tried to disconnect.
The father of the two from Gloucester finally managed to break when the shock force hit him out of bed, letting him shout for help in a frightening lonely test.
The hotel doctor checked Steve and then contacted the holiday spokesman for further help.
Steve shared his frustration, revealing: “We said we wanted to make a report and questioned it, returned to my partner and wanted to lie and say that he saw the incident, when he didn’t do it, I would go back to him, and they wouldn’t have come out,
Steve explained that before the accident, he had not used the lamp, but later exposed cables were observed: “There were wires that were left out of the lamp, but it was not something you would see without going” Oh, these cables were stuck out. You would not notice it until it happens. “
After the incident, which took place in January this year, Steve was left with a distinctive burning ring in his mouth and had to undergo blood tests as well as an ECG to monitor his heart electrical activity.
Steve claims that his hands constantly “feel like burn and stinging”, making it difficult for him to work as a kitchen fitter. He said: “My hands feel like they burn and sting every day. My shoulder is in agony hurts when I get up too, I take halfway through and I’m in so much pain. I lose money because I have to go home early or have days.”
