I’ll be honest: a lot home whitening kit they require too much work for the results they offer. I’ve tried strips that took almost an hour to work their (frankly, incredible) magic and used “bright” toothpastes that I swear made no difference.
Maybe it’s because I have what my dentist informed me are genetically yellower teeth, which appear to be darker than normal no matter what what am i doing.
So it’s safe to say I was pretty skeptical when Advance Whitening Kit by SmilePropromising whiter teeth with sessions lasting just 10 minutes, landed in my mailbox.
Spoiler alert: I shouldn’t have been.
The elegant set includes brush pens filled with whitening gela rechargeable LED tool with blue, red or mixed options, charger and case and tooth shade guide.
The red LEDs are designed to keep your mouth healthy by targeting bacteria, while the blue ones are for whiten your teeth (I used either blue or mixed version).
At the beginning of the seven day period – I chose a week, although you can use SmilePro whitening kit for up to 14 days straight – I opened the box, lifted the shade palette to my brown-stained shavings and thought, “wow, we’ve got some way to go here.”
I started with a tooth shade near the darkest endabout 10 or 11.
So I thought I’d see how much of a difference there was only one session. I charged the LED light, brushed my teeth with water, applied the gel carefully (be careful not to accidentally smear some on your gums), and placed the light in my mouth.
Surprisingly, the kit was quite comfortable. As an added bonus, the light automatically emits a sound every 10 minutesso you don’t have to watch for a timer.
I went for 20 minutes the first time (after that, TMI, but things started to get a little heavy: remember to rinse the tray after use, people!).
I was quite impressed with the results, which seemed to lift my shadow about two levels.
The great thing about SmilePro kit it’s that it seems to be made for oblivion and rushes in real life. I, a forgetful, busy person, managed to pack at least 10 minutes of this kit into my daily routine for a week – probably because it’s really comfortable and the time it takes to work it makes so much sense.
By the end of the week, my teeth were much higher on the chart. Me, with me many, many other critics, became quite a fan of the kit after that.
Usually, a SmilePro Advanced Whitening Kit it ends up costing you just over £3 per session (there are enough in the pack for 30 individual treatments). Not bad for a start, right?
