Pete Davidsonhis girlfriend Elsie Hewittunderwent an unexpected medical procedure within hours of becoming a mom.
“Who else has had to have a wisdom tooth removed straight from the hospital the day after giving birth?” Hewitt, 29, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday, December 19, sharing a selfie with gauze wrapped around her head.
In the snap, Hewitt sat in the back of a car next to her baby girl in a black child car seat.
Hewitt and Davidson, 31, welcomed their first child on December 12.
“Our perfect angel girl has arrived: Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson ♥️,” Hewitt wrote via Instagram on Thursday, December 18. “My best work yet, I am absolutely overwhelmed with love, gratitude and disbelief.”

Davidson and Hewitt, who have been together since March, named their daughter after Davidson’s late father. (Pete’s dad, Scott Davidsonwas a firefighter who died in the line of duty during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City.)
“My dad told me he was going to pick me up from school on 9/11. My mom picked me up,” Pete, who was 7 when his father died, recalled in a March 2023 episode of the “Real Ones” podcast. “He didn’t tell me what was going on for three days. He kept saying, ‘daddy’s at work, he’s coming home.’
She added, “I had no idea and my mum said, ‘you’re grounded, you’re not allowed to watch TV.’ I was, like, “I didn’t do anything.” Then one night I turned on the TV and I just saw my dad on TV. I was like, “Oh, okay,” and they were like, “These are all the firefighters that are dead.”
Pete then had a conversation with his mom, Amy Davidsonfor the death of his father.
“We didn’t know he was dead for about three weeks,” she recalled. “They were finding people, pulling people out of s*** and there was some kind of hope. It was up and down and no one knew how to deal with it.”
In addition to Amy and Pete, Scott also has a daughter Casey Davidson.

“He was hilarious, man,” Pete said of his dad Theo VonSeptember podcast. “I just remember laughing a lot, they beat him up quite a bit and [he] he smoked a lot of cigarettes and drove a Subaru Impreza. That’s all I remember [besides that he] he always had a big smile on his face. … I was very young, so I didn’t even know what happened. It hit me later, like when I was in college. I was like, “Oh, I’m so angry about this.” It’s going to show up more and more as I get older.”
THE King of Staten Island The star, who has long cited his father’s death as the reason he wants to be a dad himself, still holds his family memories close.
“I actually have his wedding ring that I wear all the time,” she said in September. “It’s really quite crazy, but I have his chain [and] his mark. So they found [his body] and i have it. I just keep it in a safe place because with my luck I’ll lose it. I have a few of those things, and I have his fireman’s jacket and another set of pants [that] frames.”
