In the 1990s, LPG Endermologie was just a body formation treatment. Beauty authors (included) flock to this cylinder and pummeling massage machine to make our cellulite, dressed in a pleasant white bodystocking that will allow the device to slip over the skin. It was painful and bruising, but then, cellulite appeared to require a beating punishment.
These days, however, technology has been upgraded, the pain is no longer, and the experience that has now been suspended has a longevity of reception and well -being. It has been shown to help in a wide range of modern whips: stress, bowel health problems, injury recovery, sleep, excessive water maintenance, loose skin … you call it!
It can reduce cortisol by 19 % in a single session, give you 55 percent less alert nights and can even have a mild ozempic effect, enhancing the “fullness” hormone in your body.
I was pleasantly surprised when I was enticed back to try out the latest repetition of the machine (the LPG Cellu M6 Infinity) for a completely painless tense of the Vitality-Stress-Sleep protocol. The results? Less retention of water on my feet and face, a decrease in levels of stress in my sky and an hour of extra sleep per night.
There are many other protocols to choose from to address your particular issue and your therapist can create an adaptation program: you could have your muscular pain and loose skin treated at the same time, for example.
Ef medispa Founder Esther Fieldgrass, who just brought the last machine to her London clinics, noted that patients soon get hooked on the feelings of the machine: “They come for vanity reasons, wanting to target fats or cellulite, but they are so fats.”
What is LPG Endermologie?
Sometimes it is simply called “LPG” or “Endermologie”, this is a patented technology machine that initially started as a medical device to relax and normalize scar tissue and improve skin regeneration on Burns victims. It has long been used by surgeons to prepare the skin to go under the knife because it improves its durability and quality.
The machine in action-and, yes, you must wear body storage (image: lpg-group.com)
It combines rollers, suction and vibration to mobilize blood circulation and lymph node to help distribute nutrients and oxygen and waste and toxins. It “wakes up” the inert cells on the skin, encouraging the regeneration of collagen and elastin. And it helps to release persistent clusters of fat while softening the hardened tissues that contribute to launch and cellulite.
Initially it gained attraction as slimming and anti-cellulite, due to the combinations of the various massage actions that face many orange skin and bloating.
Does LPG Endermologie hurt?
There are no needles or laser cover here and the treatment is completely non -invasive, but the early versions of the machine had a reputation for exercising badly, especially in areas of stagnant lymph nodes and hardened tissues. From memory, I wasn’t the only beauty author who didn’t come back after his first session!
But all this has changed. “The machine is calibrated to function deeply through a variety of massage techniques, but without hard compression or sting,” says LPG Esther Simon trainer, who makes my treatments. I am encouraged to be channeled whenever something feels painful (which always happens, as I have too tenderly lower legs), so Esther immediately reduces massage intensity.

What can LPG Endermologie do?
A lot:
- Reduce cellulite and help release persistent fat
A treatment course improves outlines (helping to drain liquids and loosening clusters of fat cells) And the appearance of cellulite – but don’t expect a dramatic transformation.
- Treat edema and water maintenance
It is very effective in lymphatic drainage, so popular for “heavy legs” and other bloating areas. NHS uses it to relieve edema and water retention in patients.
Massage enhances circulation Kneads the tissues just below the skin, helping them flood with internal humidity to hydrate the skin from the inside.
By stimulating collagen and elastin production, the skin will become slightly more stable – but treatments will not correct advanced relaxation.
Consistent treatment can soften the appearance of scars by stimulating and loosening the hardened tissues.
By helping to transfer lactic acid and improve blood flow, muscle pain can be reduced.
GTG’s Victoria Woodhall had a back injury and rigid throat that was treated with endermologie: massage will increase tissue elasticity, increase circulation and drainage of lymph nodes and reduce swelling to increase healing and reduce pain.
- Settle anxiety and anxiety
It is proven to be able to reduce cortisol (the stress hormone) in the body by 19 % in a single session and up to 45 % on a course of treatments, helping to relax your system and reduce stress.
In the same way, it improves sleep: a clinical trial showed that participants had 55 percent less alert nights.
- Beat fatigue and lack of vitality
Endermologie helps re -activate the system in various ways. The NHS uses the machine to cure the pain and fatigue of fibromyalgia. In addition to improving 15 % of nutrients and oxygen intake, tests have shown that treatment can cause about 9 % increase in T lymphocytes (white blood cells that form part of your immune defense). The variability of the heart rate, meanwhile, can be increased by 77 %. A high HRV means that the body can be better adapted to stressors, which means better overall health.
- Tackle bowel issues, digestion and over -consumption
The detoxifying effects of lymph node drainage reduce inflammation and improve intestinal health and digestion. And there is the clinical proof that enderia increases leptin, the hormone that makes you feel full, by 4.3 %. So it is a mild phenomenon that resembles ozempic-without any piercings.
How is endermologie treatment?
There are many different programs. We have selected a course of the Vitality-Stress-Sleep protocol (10, recommended twice a week for five weeks) to help regulate stress levels and sleeping standard.
After wearing the white tight trunk of the skin (there is no one to take around it, as without it, the handset would stop and pinch the skin), I submitted to the multitude of senses adaptation: along with pummeling, suction, compression, and squeeze and cylinder. Everything is painless and quite pleasant, taking front and back of the body and reaching your skin, lymph node, fascia, muscles and even organs.
You can definitely feel a release of physical and psychological intensity as they are treated. I fell into semi-sleep for part of most of my sessions. There was a great emphasis on the spine and back to bring this, possibly affecting the nerve of the lung and thus promoting a state A of calm.
I am a big faithful to the lymphatic drainage for long -term health (we have previously sung the praise of the Ballanscer Aka Lymph Drainage pants) and have also benefited from deep tissue massage as a proven sleep promoter. So it was no surprise that the soothing VSS sessions let me feel calmer and more in control of daily pressure. I am also more capable of sleeping again after I always wake up at 4 in the morning.

How long do the results last?
To maintain the results, you must continue to have treatments. A clinical trial shows that the results are maintained and improved for about a month after the last treatment of your original course, so it is recommended once a month.
Is there a shutdown?
No, Endermologie does not include a break time and is safe for most. Only people with ongoing cancer, blood diseases, infections or anticoagulant treatment are not recommended to have it. Pregnant or lactating women may require modified protocols.
Is Endermologie better than manual massage? Our verdict
It is likely that any good manual massage has similar relaxation, activation, fluid drainage and muscle intensity in Endermologie. They just haven’t been submitted to the clinical trial by LPG on his machine.
However, one benefit from Endermologie treatments is that it can make multiple types of massage at the same time, possibly achieve more holistic results for your money than choosing manual massage. There are no oils involved, making the process less dirty and more efficient than manual massage. Both Victoria and I will think of having a regular Endermologie massage in place of manuals.
What does Endermologie cost?
It depends on the protocol and the length of the session (the shortest sessions for facial drainage are 10 minutes). A Vitality-Stress-Sleep treatment, which is 40 minutes, costs 95 £ on average around the United Kingdom, with discounts for multiple treatments
