A WOMAN who can’t afford veneers has shared how she covers her own ‘bad’ teeth on a budget.
Kerris, 27, broke her two front teeth at school as a teenager, but was “reluctant” to return to the dentist because of the amount of work she would have had to do.
So instead, she tried to cover her teeth with her lip when she spoke.
And when she came across a budget-friendly idea to give herself a new look without the expense or pain of buying veneers, the mom of three decided to give it a try.
Kerris, from Warwickshire, went to her TikTok page to share the clever idea as he showed off the kit you can buy from the social networking site.
“I have bad teeth,” he began.

“If I showed you my real teeth, you’d call me a crackhead.
“I was s**t with my teeth. There’s no excuse – I was a bum.”
Kerris – who has never even shown her partner or best friends her natural teeth – said that while she was “waiting for comments about my teeth” on TikTok, they never came because “none of you even clicked”.
So now he’s decided to share the effectiveness of the kit – which comes with beads that melt with boiling water and mold to natural teeth.
“I’m going to tell my kids I did third-level dentistry,” she joked, as she said she’s been covering her natural gnaws with the pellet molds for the past five years.
“I’m actually a registered dental nurse.”
Sharing the video on TikTok, Kerris captioned it: “I’m at UC making my own cake.”
People took to the comments section to weigh in on Kerris’ clip, with one writing: ‘Girl I did this for four years until I could get implants.
“I was literally making models of myself with new false teeth every four weeks.”
“I had to use them to fill in my gaps when I had dentures, they were actually amazing,” agreed another.
“I’m lucky and I’ve had implants for the past few years, but I’ve had bad teeth for 16 years, but I had an accident.”
“This product is the best thing ever,” commented a third.
Dentist-approved teeth whitening tips
ERIN Fraunddorf, DMD, MSD, owner of BOCA Orthodontic + Whitening Studio in Missouri, shared her top tips for whiter teeth.
Seek whitening treatment from a professional. It is often more powerful and will be the most effective, so you don’t waste your money on a product that doesn’t work or can harm you. Also, you only get one set of teeth, so it’s best not to experiment with them.
Examine the cause of the staining. There are many causes for teeth to have a yellow or brown tint. Be sure to get an evaluation and diagnosis from a professional to ensure you get the best treatment for your stains. Not all stains are the same, so they may require different treatments.
Consider your lifestyle, smile goals, and budget. When choosing a whitening treatment that is best for you, consider many factors when designing a custom plan. Some people like working to whiten at home, some prefer only in-office treatments, some need to go really bright for say a wedding, while others would like a gentler, gradual, consistent approach to whitening.
Ease into it. Start incorporating teeth whitening into your routine gradually to get your teeth used to it and you can closely monitor your sensitivity level to adjust how often you can whiten.
Try to prevent. Make small changes to your lifestyle in an effort to prevent stains from penetrating your teeth. For example, sip soiling drinks through a straw, rinse with plain water after drinking anything soiling, and choose plain water over sparkling whenever possible.
Water floss to help remove stains between teeth. Remove stubborn stains between your teeth with a water flosser because toothbrush bristles can only reach so much of the surface of your teeth.
“I’m not going to lie when I first bought it I was really skeptical.
“I haven’t been to a dentist in years, mine was closed…and when I called for an emergency, they kept saying unless I’m in pain or have swelling, they won’t make an appointment.
“I bought this and fixed my tooth with it until I finally called them and had to tell them I was in pain to get a temporary filling.
“It kept falling out and I would use it until I saved enough money to go private.”
