Saffron said she was almost kicked off her flight after having butt lift surgery in Brazil in Turkey, sparking online debate about what she was doing on the plane
Airplanes are tight, confined environments – and it can be especially uncomfortable if you don’t choose your seat and end up stuck in the middle of a row of three seats. This becomes even more difficult if you have a curvier figure or are particularly tall.
However, one woman revealed online that her shapely bottom nearly got her kicked off her flight. Saffron, who shares content on TikTok under the handle @saffronmariexx, claimed: “I almost got kicked off the plane because of my BBL.” For those unfamiliar with the term, BBL refers to Brazilian bum lift surgery.
Because of the health risks, doing BBL in the UK is proving to be a challenge. The NHS warns that surgical fat transfer carries serious risks, stating: “BBL surgery has the highest death rate of all cosmetic procedures. The main concern is that the injected fat can cause a blockage in a blood vessel in the lungs (pulmonary embolism), which can be fatal.”
Saffron therefore traveled to Turkey for the BBL procedure and had to fly back to the UK after the operation. She revealed that “for takeoff and landing,” she used her “BBL cushion” while seated.
However, once the “seat belt sign was off” she was “walking” and positioning herself with her bottom up after surgery. This behavior is necessary because patients should avoid sitting in the area as much as possible during recovery.
Saffron had a chat with her partner during the overnight flight – and claims some passengers were not impressed as they tried to rest.
Despite the backlash, Saffron shrugged her shoulders saying “that’s your choice” and continued to enjoy herself instead of feeling sorry for her discomfort.
She replied, “My boyfriend and I are allowed to talk and laugh and laugh. I can walk up and down the aisle as many times as I want. But the way all the Karens on the ship kept telling us.”
However, some felt that Saffron’s actions were “inconsiderate” towards others and suggested that this was why she almost “started flying”.
Critics voiced their opinions in the comments section of her social media post, with one critic stating: “While I agree you don’t need to sleep, it’s rude to be loud and annoying when people are sleeping.”
Another claimed it had “nothing to do with the BBL”, it was just “annoying”.
Meanwhile, one person expressed concern, saying he “didn’t need” the operation in the first place.
They added: ‘I mean kindly, you were naturally beautiful before and there was absolutely no need for this.
“I know everyone makes their own choices, but I just want you to know that you were already in great shape, you really didn’t need that girl.”
