The rise of “wet nose work” or non -surgical rhinoplasty quickly becomes the choice for those looking for a quick, minimally invasive alternative to traditional nose surgery.
There are days when the reform of your nose meant to go under the knife and last a long recovery.
Now, with wet rhinoplasty, you can improve and reshape your nose in a matter of minutes using skin fillers – no surgery is required.
So what should you expect from this modern sting? And what questions should you ask before diving?
Alice Hensouu, owner of Set up Harley Street Clinic and Skincycles Skincare, shares its expert tips …
Can the full make the nose look smaller?
“Adding tumor to the nose may sound opposite, but in reality, it can really make the nose look more sophisticated and balanced,” says Alice.
“With the strategic placement of the filler, we can smooth out the blows, lift an edge or create better symmetry that can make the nose look smaller and more harmonious with the rest of the face.”
Before and after: The process is fast and simple, taking only 15-30 minutes
How long do the results last?
When considering fillers, it is important to understand how long the results will last. “The results usually last 12 to 18 months, but this depends on the type of filling used and individual metabolism,” says Alice.
“Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm gradually dissolve over time. Some people may see the results fade earlier, while others keep them for a longer period of time. ”
Understanding of the dangers
While fillers can offer amazing results, it is important to understand that no process is completely without risk. Alice stressed: “Like any injectable treatment, there are risks”, but assured that when performed by a specialized injector, complications are rare.
He continued: “The most serious risk is vascular obstruction, where filling by accidentally enter a blood vessel, which can lead to skin damage.” Other potential risks include asymmetry, bruises, edema and filler migration. “That is why the choice of a qualified physician is necessary,” says Alice.
Is the process painful?
“Most patients find it very tolerated,” says Alice. “Juvederm fillers contain lidocaine (a numbness factor), and we can also use a timely creamy cream in advance. You may feel slight pressure or sting, but it is significantly less painful than a surgical rhinoplasty.
What to expect during and after treatment
Alice explains that the process is relatively fast and simple. “The process takes about 15-30 minutes,” says Alice.
“There may be little swelling, redness or bruises for a few days. You can return to normal activities immediately, but I recommend avoiding glasses, excessive pressure or severe exercise for 48 hours.
Where are the basic injection positions?
“Nose Bridge – to straighten a blow or build height,” says Alice. “Tip of the nose – to add view and lift. Columella (nose base) – to enhance the support of the limbs. These sites are strategically targeted to achieve a balanced and natural nose improvement. “
Can I wear glasses after the procedure?
“It is best to avoid wearing glasses for at least 1-2 weeks to prevent pressure from filling,” Alice explains. “Which could cause a shift. If necessary, lightweight frames or placing the glasses over the bridge can help. ”
How much does a wet nose work?
“Prices usually range from £ 850 to £ 1,000 depending on the experience of the injector, the position of the clinic and the type of filling used.”

Can fix a crooked nose?
It is important to manage expectations when considering cosmetic payments. “Yes, filling can camouflage asymmetry, making a focus on the nose look more straight,” says Alice.
“However, it does not really correct the underlying bone or cartilage structure- so in severe cases, surgery can be the best choice, so we will refer our client to our plastic surgeon.”
What if I don’t like the results?
The good news is that hyaluronic acid fillers are reversible. “If you are unhappy with the result, we can dissolve the filling with hyaluronidase, usually in a few days. Small adjustments can also be made to improve the results, ”Alice explains.
He added: “A liquid nose work offers a quick, non -invasive way to enhance the nasal form and symmetry with a minimum of stopping. However, as with any cosmetic process, proper research and choosing a qualified professional is the key to achieving the best results.
