Ariana Grande clarified her recent comment that beauty injections were the secret to her youthful appearance.
The 31-year-old actress and singer was recently honored with the Rising Star Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival. While accepting the award she thanked ‘Botox and Juvederm’ for her appearance.
Ariana Grande has now revealed she is ‘four years clean’ of such beauty injections.
Ariana Grande is ‘Four Years Clear’ of Botox
Grande proudly announced that she has been “clean” of beauty injections for four years after her Botox joke.
The “7 Rings” singer picked up the Rising Star award at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Friday and jokingly credited her “Botox and Juvederm” look.
However, in conversation with Entertainment Tonight after giving her acceptance speech, she clarified, “I’m still clean, I’m still clean, but when I start going [for injections] again, I’ll let you know.”
Grande emphasized, “I mean it. I really want to be transparent as a beauty founder. As the founder of rem beauty, I think it’s important to be transparent.”
“But I love it and I support it. But I’ve been four years clean. You see the lines? I love them,” she said of her natural skin.

While giving her acceptance speech for the Rising Star award, Grande discussed what the honor meant to her and poked fun at herself, saying she thought she’d be considered for the “slightly wilted star.”
“You don’t know how much it means to me,” said Grande, who turned heads at the event in an elegant satin white dress, per People Magazine.
He added: “I thought I’d hear ‘slightly withered star’ or ‘fallen star’ by now, so thank you.”
During the event, the pop star also praised Jennifer Coolidge, who presented her with the award. He called Coolidge a “comic genius whose brilliance has inspired [her] whole life”.
Grande then thanked “Wicked” director Jon M. Chu, whom she described as her “fearless leader,” and her co-star Cynthia Erivo, whom she called her “brilliant sister.”

The Botox comment comes months after Grande revealed her plastic surgery during a lie detector test interview for Vanity fair with her “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo.
When pressed to confirm whether she had ever had surgery on her nose and breasts, she denied it and the polygraph confirmed that she was telling the truth.
When asked if she’s ever had a ‘facelift’, the ‘Into You’ singer replied, ‘No, not yet. I’m open.”
However, Grande admitted to getting fillers and botox “in different places” in the past, but said she stopped “like four years ago.”
She was then asked if she had ever had a Brazilian Butt Lift, which she found funny, telling the interviewer to “Get out of here.”
“Yeah,” he joked, prompting the polygrapher to clarify, “He’s a fraud.”
The former Nickelodeon child star said she would never get BBL because it “wouldn’t work for her.” He added that he doesn’t “think that’s my thing and I’m fine with that, you know?”
Additionally, she denied receiving a “fox eye lift” and said she didn’t know what it was until she was accused of doing it.
“I found out about it through people who thought I did it and I said thank you,” he noted.

The “Thank U, Next” singer took home the Rising Star award for her performance as Glinda the Good in “Wicked.”
He explained that being able to act in the film was “not only the honor of my life”, but also that it “felt like a homecoming”.
“For those of you who don’t know, I started out in stand-up comedy. My first professional gig was at our living room in Boca Raton, Fla., [to entertain] my grandparents. I was 4 years old and my mom gave me $5,” Grande said.
She then explained how comedy shaped her life: “I learned early on that laughter was one of our greatest escapes, and I remember the infectious impact it had, not only on the people in my life, but how it fed me in return.”
“And for the last 10 years, when I’ve been really focused on music, I’ve really missed that feeling. So it really feels like the beginning of a new chapter,” Grande added.

The festival’s president, Nachhattar Singh Chandi, was also moved with pride at Grande winning the award and said it was the “beginning of many accolades” she would still collect in her career.
He said, “Ariana Grande is an iconic global performer who has seamlessly transitioned to film in her first major leading role, proving that she is a versatile and undeniable talent.”
“This role is sure to be the beginning of the many accolades she will garner throughout her acting career,” he added.
Grande was also nominated for Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards for her supporting role in the musical fantasy film.
“Wicked” is based on the 1995 book by Gregory Maguire that was later turned into a three-time Tony Award-winning Broadway musical in 2003.
The final part of the film is set to hit theaters in November 2025.
