As duck lips and Brazilian butt lifts continue to lose popularity, there’s a wild procedure that’s surprisingly gaining traction among women.
Vaginal tightening has been around for years, with celebrities like Brandi Glanville and Jada Pinkett Smith getting the job done, and requests for designer vaginas continue to grow.
According to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), in 2022 there were 194,086 lipoplasty procedures. This is a 46 percent increase over the previous four years.
Former Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Jenn Harley recently spoke to DailyMail.com about her vaginal rejuvenation experience.
The 36-year-old mom of three turned to Texas-based physician Dr. Aimee Nguyen, to reshape her lady parts with a laser procedure after the birth of her third child last year.
Vaginal tightening and labiaplasty are gaining more popularity thanks to stars like Jessi Ngatikaura (pictured), whose surgery was featured on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
“I’m single right now so I’m not having any more babies, this is the last one for me,” she explained.
“Having babies opens up your vaginal canal, so everything Dr. Nguyen, he stitches it back together, so it’s basically like being a virgin again!”
Jenn, who is best known for her relationship with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, said the recovery process left her “a little sore,” but said it wasn’t much different than recovering from childbirth.
“I just wanted to get it back to its original state and save it for someone special,” said the realtor, who also had liposuction on her arms.
While Jenn opted for laser tightening, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jessi Ngatikaura took it a step further by getting liposuction — and documenting the entire process in her hit Hulu series.
Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to reduce the size of the labia minora – the flaps of skin on either side of the vaginal opening.
It involves cutting away the unwanted tissue with a laser scalpel in a procedure that takes about one to two hours.

The mum-of-three underwent a vaginal tightening after the birth of her third child
Mother-of-two Jessie, 32, said giving birth changed her vagina and left her unable to wear yoga pants, prompting her to go into surgery.
“My curtains, they’re just hanging low,” she told her stunned co-stars in the sixth episode of the controversial series.
“I’ve noticed a big difference down there, to the point where it’s uncomfortable,” he continued.
“So they basically cut away that extra meat and make it so my lips are nice and perfect again.”
Discussing the results with her teammates, Jessie revealed she was unable to have sex for “four to six weeks” while she recovered from the painful procedure.
Sharing her “brutal” recovery, Jessie said: “It felt like I had a torch up there!”
However, she later described her post-op gimmick as ‘perfect’ and told DailyMail.com she had ‘no regrets’ about going under the knife.

Other celebrities who have undergone vaginal procedures include Sonja Morgan and Cynthia Bailey from the Real Housewives franchise, Farrah Abraham and Briana DeJesus from Teen Mom, British reality star Gemma Collins and according to Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney’s sisters and Kim.
Jada Pinkett-Smith has even had vaginal rejuvenation surgery three times and credits it with restoring her youthful ‘peach’ look.
“When I tell you my yoni is like a 16-year-old, I’m not kidding,” she said on a 2018 episode of The Red Table Talk.
“I’m talking about the outside world. It looks like a beautiful little peach.’
Speaking to DailyMail.com, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr Deepak Dugar, from The Rhinoplasty Center of Beverly Hills, said that some pain and bleeding were common during the recovery process.
“Typically, you have a week where you might have a little pain and some spotting and bleeding, then it’s about four to six weeks before the general swelling goes down and you can resume most major physical exercises and activities, including sexual activity,” he said. .

Dr. Dugar said most women seeking labiaplasty were mothers who had seen their breasts change after giving birth.
“The biggest changes that happen to the lips usually happen hormonally during puberty or happen after pregnancy when there’s stretching and tearing,” she explained.
“And so there’s an important consideration that these types of procedures should usually be done after delivery and saved until delivery, due to the fact that there could be more changes that occur after having children with vaginal delivery.”
And when it comes to getting the vulva of your dreams, Dr. Dugar said there was a certain level of customization patients could ask for.
“I think there’s definitely adaptation and different ways that people approach lipoplasty,” she explained.
“There is a process of cutting. There is a wedge process. Therefore, there are many different types of liposuction performed, and speaking with a board-certified plastic surgeon is key to showing you examples of work that is very similar to your own.
“Obviously, liposuction is very personal and private, there’s not going to be a lot of public information about it, so I think you’d go to a surgeon who does a lot of them and let him guide you with before and after pictures so you can understand what The differences are and where you could achieve your goals is the key.’
Despite the procedure’s popularity, not everyone is a fan.
Body image educator and activist Ellie Sedgwick recently told DailyMail.com that dramatic lip jobs could be sending the wrong message to young girls.
“From my research, working with sexologists, I know that this part of the inner labia that everyone cuts is full of nerve endings. They say there are more than 8,000 to 10,000 nerve endings there,” Sedgwick said.
“Well, what concerns me is that people are going to go have this surgery because they saw something on TV and they’re going to cut off this beautiful tool of pleasure just to fit society’s idea of beauty and meet these standards of beauty that are not realistic.’
