As Miami Arts Week and leads the fair Art Basel Miami Beach Coming into its 21st year, evening fashion events, popups, concerts, restaurant debuts, cocktail parties, and philanthropic moments were held to match and exceed every art purchase of the day. During the week-long festivities – during which the Magic City is taken over by celebrities, musicians, artists and collectors – star chefs, artists, credit card companies and fashion brands, Alcohol and watches were all present alongside dealers and collectors. For some, it was entirely possible to spend an entire week traveling from the beach to Brickell and downtown to the Design District to attend art-adjacent parties and never see any of the fairs.
Here are highlights of what happened in town when not everyone was looking at art.

Following the mid-November opening of ZZ’s Club in New York — Major Food Group’s first private membership concept in New York, home to the ultra-exclusive Carbone Privado — the hotel group donated The Hollywood Reporter a look at the new Chateau ZZ inside a historic Miami estate dating back to 1931. Chateau ZZ with its solarium, bar, lounge and gardens will be the first Mexican concept from Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi and has a second floor reserved for members. Captains in tuxedos will serve guacamole at the table. Also look for a take on the original Caesar salad recipe, which originated in Tijuana in the 1920s. The beverage program will feature more than 1,000 tequilas and mezcals, including dozens not found at any other restaurant.
