Kaitlyn Bristowe shares a glimpse of her recent blepharoplasty.
On Sunday, December 8, Bachelorette star, 39, posted some photos after surgery on Instagram after telling her fans she had an “upper lash” (blepharoplasty) on the social networking site the day before.
In one snap, Bristowe posed for a selfie in bed, showing followers her puffy, pink eyelids, while another shot showed her in a medical facility still wearing her blue tuft of hair.
A video then showed someone pushing Bristowe out of the clinic in a wheelchair. She was still wearing the hair net and apparently joked that it was “embarrassing” as the person filming laughed behind the camera.
Quoting Meryl Streep’s famous line from The Devil Wears PradaBristow captioned the post: “Don’t be ridiculous Andrea, everyone wants to look like this.”
Per the Mayo Clinica blepharoplasty “is a type of surgery that removes excess skin from the eyelids,” adding that “the loosening of the skin around the eyes can reduce side vision (peripheral vision), especially the upper and outer part of the visual field” , with aging.
“Blepharoplasty can reduce or get rid of these vision problems. Surgery can also make the eyes look younger and more awake,” the website states.

Bristowe’s latest post comes after she shared a photo of herself on a bed in a medical facility, wearing a hospital gown and a blue hair cap. In the photo shared on Instagram On Saturday, the reality star had her eyes covered as she relaxed while looking connected to a monitor following surgery.
In the post, the Off the vine The podcast host revealed she wasn’t the only one in the household recovering, as she said her two Golden Retrievers, Pinot and Ramen, also had stitches.
“Lots going on at the Bristow residence. All 3 of us have stitches. I got an upper eyelash (take it to your group chat if you want to be negative). Ramen had a fatty tumor removed (Please pray for it to go back to normal) The Pinot knocked out a tooth (He was so high when he got home he had to eat lying down),” the TV personality captioned, adding photos and videos of favorite puppies.
“And my back yard is ripped up!! (Meaning the dogs are on leashes every time they have to go, even if it’s 3am),” she added, sharing a video of the work being done outside her home .
“Well good news. I saw a dog today. Have you ever seen one? You probably have. Anyway,” Bristowe concluded in the caption.

Bristowe has been open about the procedures she’s had over the years, applauding fans again in 2021 after people commented on how “different” she was since first appearing on The Bachelorette back in 2015.
“6 years since I’ve been on the show, brow lift, micro brow blading, got my teeth put together, some filler in my lips, aging, darker hair and finally learned how to contour. Oh and put on some weight 💪🏼 “, she wrote to X (formerly known as Twitter) at the time.
“So sick of women commenting on my face. Jesus,” she added in response to another critical social media post about her.
