Britain’s Got Talent winner George Samson stunned the nation in 2008 with his stunning modern dance rendition of Singin’ in the Rain, securing him the BGT title.
Despite coming up short in the semi-finals a year ago, George proved a redoubt for the judge Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden wrong and became famous after his victory.
After cutting ties with the music mogul Simon Cowell in 2009, he took advantage of various television appearances and endorsement deals. He largely stayed out of the limelight until he joined Emmerdale briefly in 2016 playing Ryan Harred and participating in Celebrity Coach Trip together Roxanne Pallett in 2019.

Now aged 30, the boy wonder turned theater veteran has just closed the curtain on a successful run as the lead in a touring Robin Hood pantomime. Sharing words of reflection shortly before the final performance, George wrote on Instagram: “This past month has been an absolute rollercoaster!”
Sharing a selfie in his Robin Hood outfit, cuddling his co-star with his dog, he said: “Playing Robin Hood on a national tour has been an unreal experience, thanks to everyone who came to see the show! Here’s me and my partner Sally having a much needed hug between scenes.”
This milestone follows his stint as Prince in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Christmas back to Weymouth, Dorset. Not limited to just these roles, George has been in many productions including Peter Pan and Cinderella to name a few.
On a more personal note, George has been open about his three hair transplants in recent years. He once made an appearance at This morningwhere he stepped out flaunting a receding hairline and admitted spending £9,000 on his first two operations.
When discussing his latest transplant with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsfordshe confessed: “I’m so happy. It’s hard. I’m still texting hundreds of men. I felt like an old man with a babyface, I had to wake up and look in the mirror and think I hate the thin line.”
Describing his head as a ‘bare skin runway’, he shared this footballer Wayne Rooney provided a dose of inspiration, having undergone a transplant himself.
George later revealed that he was diagnosed with alopecia, attributing his hair loss to multiple causes, stress, genetics, and even excessive twisting of his head due to his dance routine.
Over the years, George has openly discussed his struggles with hair loss, undergoing three hair transplants to regain his confidence.
His journey highlights how common this concern is among men, and his willingness to address it publicly resonates with many.

George’s romance with Kazmin Borrer, who he met during a production of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, is going strong as they celebrated their fourth anniversary. They’re not shy about sharing their love on Instagram, where George posted a cute Christmas kiss video.
The couple also enjoys jet-setting, having shared memories of New York, Venice and Los Angeles in the past year.
