Art connoisseur, philanthropist and Delhi socialite, Shalini Passi was clearly the star of the third season of the popular Netflix reality show, Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives . Her confidence in being herself no matter who was watching left an indelible mark on the public. Shalini’s extravagant fashion sense and life mantras remained the talk of the town long after the show aired. Like the little digs she and her co-stars Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Riddhimi Kapoor Saina, Kalyani Saha, Neelam Kothari and Seema Sajdeh took at each other. Recently, Seema thought of a subtle piercing that Shalini had done for her veneers.
Seema Sajdeh takes a dig at Shalini Passi by making a sly comment about her veneers
Seema Sajdeh and Shalini Passi had a crazy interaction during an episode Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives when the actors had traveled to Mauritius. The latter was seen drinking champagne through a straw, prompting the former to call her “very ajib aurat”. Shalini was then seen talking to the camera about what happened and taking a subtle dig at Seema, saying;
“Unlike many of my friends, I don’t have veneers. These are my real teeth. I’d like them to stay that way for the next 100 years.”
Well, in a recent interview with Jarp, Seema was shown the clip and asked to react to it. The fashion designer confirmed that she had two veneers in the front. He then stated that he couldn’t exactly show up with broken teeth, so he didn’t see the problem with getting veneers. Seema added that she herself used a straw to drink, but only when applying lipstick, as she hated touch-ups. When it was suggested that Shalini’s dig was aimed at her, Seema paused before replying:
“Was it directed at me? Come on, I own it. I have it (veners). Shalini would never say anything before us, but she would drop bombs in these Q&A scenes.”

Later in the conversation, Seema expressed her thoughts on Shalini Passi, calling her a ‘sweet girl’. He then noted that they had known each other for years but Seema saw a different side of Shalini on the show. In her words:
“She is a sweet girl. I have fun with her and I know she has become a sensation. Good for her. She lives in Delhi and I live in Mumbai, but whenever we see each other, we like her. I have known her for many years, but this side of her was a revelation” .

Seema was also asked if she and Shalini shared similarities. Seema was quick to deny the same, saying she could only imagine her “kids’ reaction” if she pulled the same antics. He referred to a particular scene from the show when Shalini ran into the ocean wearing a dress and stated that if she did that, her children would call her “crazy”.
Seema played a little game in the same interview where she had to assign movie titles to her cast mates. He gave to Neelam, every happiness, every sorrow and called Maheep, Sholay . When presented with Shalini’s name, Seema laughed as she called her, Chaalbaaz .
