‘I was not Excessively obsessed with my exhaustion or whatever – not consciously, anyway. But at 44, I started overflowing on top. My hair line, especially in the temples, had fallen significantly. I was, in a very general sense, I feel some despair over my falling desire – and maybe catch any old straw (gym, diet, etc.) to improve my lot.
“I heard Constantinople was the place to go for hair transplants, but I confessHair– And it kept it. To answer the first and more practical question, my process costs about $ 2,000 – to suspend at least 5 to 10 times this amount in America – Plus another $ 3,000 for airline tickets, hotels, grilled fish and local Pilsener Efes.
“The second question I have is about the real process, as it hurts it? It depends on the person, I guess, but I think your night news is causing you more pain and even more boredom and then with My Docted Meaw. Hair line and shaving is not absolutely necessary, but it makes it easy to do.
“Then, the project, after giving me an Xanax to cool me, the nurses pushed my forehead with an anesthetic needle, a very large and then hit the top and side of my head with a regular syringe full of some local cases, and then went to it, My, the rotating group of nursers exported about 9,000 hairs from the sides and the back of my head, which sewn on top and the front of my scalp.
“Even the recovery, where you have to deal with the top of your head extremely soft – exercise, sex and alcohol should be temporarily avoided and sleeping on your back with a travel pillow – it was not so bad.
“As for the results, I have to let other people judge, after a few years and several stages of rejection-when much of the new follicles fall my hair and start spending several days to explain my good friends with My Band Adage My.”

Second opinion
When considering a hair transplant, it is best to look for a surgeon accredited by International Hair Rehabilitation SocietySays Corey Hartman, MD, a professor of dermatology specializing in hair restoration at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. In Istanbul, it is Ozlem Bicer, MD, Musbeh Arslan, MD or Koray Erdogan, MD. Dr. Hartman also notes that the injections of a rich in platelet-plate for hair loss are growing in popularity and are better done in the first signs of hair loss, in combination with a treatment with drugs such as Propecia or Rogaine. They usually cost $ 1,500 to $ 3,500 and can be repeated every three to six months as required.
You know before you go
Consider the Rule of $ 8,000
A good barometer for whether your medical journey is worth economically is the $ 8,000 rule, says Josef Woodman, its chief executive Patients beyond border. If your overall offer for US treatment (including consultations, process and hospital stay) is $ 8,000 or more, you will probably save money traveling abroad for your care. If it is less, it is probably better to have your treatment at home.
Check the credentials
Research clinics on sites such as medicaltourism.com, DentalDepartures.com, Beyondborders.com patientsand the Department of Medical Tourism of the CDC’s yellow book. Three certifications indicating high quality are the International CommitteeTemos International and Global Healthcare. Also, look for doctors and clinical survey at clinicaltrials.gov, says Jonathan Edelheit, co -founder of World Health Care Resource.
Request patient reports
It is best to talk to patients in your age area and at least one year after treatment, says Edelheit. If a clinic rejects a request for reports, avoid. Discuss any complications, after treatment, constant results and if they did anything else that could have affected their effects.
Get everything in writing
Did you have a big call in which you promised five -star accommodation, smoothies upon request and care after OP? Request a list of all services and expenses in writing. Also note that you may not be able to sue the clinic or doctor for negligence. (Depending on treatment, a corrective procedure may be available.)
Be smart for money
Don’t flock money. Pay with a credit card, which will better ensure that you have an appeal, such as searching for a refund, says Edelheit.
Arrange monitoring your care in advance
Before you go, warn the primary care doctor (if something goes wrong) and also make sure you have a detailed tracking plan with the right papers, files and/or imaging.
