But do you use your mouth correctly?
Some simple mistakes in the mouth could lead to unhealthy issues in your mouth, including the imbalance of beneficial bacteria that can lead to unpleasant cases of oral chewing gum.
Dr. Tarun Nagpal, a Judge-The dentist is aware of the importance of properly using the mouth and understanding its potential risks.
The mouth should never replace brushing and thread, he says, but rather complements them.

1. Avoid using the mouth immediately after brushing

2. Do not eat or drink straight

But Dr. Nagpal says you have to wait at least half an hour.
Advises: “For mouth -containing mouths, avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after use to allow maximum efficiency.”
3. Do not excessively use the mouth
People can use their mouths too much to cover bad breath, achieve a feeling of “pure mouth” or because they incorrectly believe it is a primary solution for oral hygiene.
But excessive use of the mouth, especially those containing alcohol, can disrupt the balance of beneficial bacteria in the mouth, warned Dr. Nagpal.
“This may potentially lead to dry mouth, oral chewing gum or other issues,” he said.
He added: “While there is no definitive relationship between alcohol and cancer targets, alcohol options are generally recommended to minimize any risk.”
4. Select therapeutic oral solutions over cosmetics
Oral solutions can actually be categorized into cosmetics and therapeutic types – and one is better than the other Nagpal.
He explained: “Cosmetic mouthwashing temporarily covers bad breath, but do not deal with underlying issues.
“Therapeutic oral solutions contain active ingredients such as fluoride to enhance teeth, antimicrobials to reduce plaque and gingivitis or agents to fight dry mouth.”
5. Always follow the instructions for use
Some oral solutions, especially those containing chlorhexidine (such as certain compositions of Corsodyl), can cause temporary tooth staining if used for extensive mensessaid Dr. Nagpal.
“This staining is usually superficial and can be removed with professional cleaning,” he said.
“But it is necessary to follow the instructions for use and consult a dentist before prolonged use of such products.”
So, what oral solution does Dr. Nagpal suggest?
Oral choice depends on your individual oral health necessary:
To prevent cavity: A mouth containing fluoride, without alcohol can help enhance enamel and prevent decay.
For gum health: An antibacterial oral solution with ingredients such as ketylbyridin or diluous chlorhexidine can reduce plate and gingivitis.
For dry mouth: Oral solutions specially designed for dry mouth, often containing xylitol, can provide relief without the drying effects of others.
Dr. Nagpal added: “Always consult your dentist to determine the most appropriate mouth for your specific needs for oral health.”
