BROOKE Shields has revealed she was ‘stunned’ after a surgeon performed vaginal resuscitation on her without her consent.
Brooke, 59, opened up about the invasive procedure in an interview US Weekly ahead of the release of her upcoming book Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old: Thoughts on Aging as a Woman.
Although she admitted she was embarrassed to share the intimate story, she said she wanted to do it to instigate change in women’s health.
The incident happened while she was undergoing surgery to reduce the length of her lips [labiaplasty] which caused bleeding and discomfort.
After the operation, the surgeon boasted that he gave her an extra treatment.
Model and actress Brooke said: “It felt like such an intrusion — such a weird, like, rape of some sort.

“There was nothing to indicate that this should be tighter or smaller or firmer or newer, especially there.”
Colpoplasty, which is often done for sexual reasons, tightens the vagina and is irreversible.
Brooke said she felt ashamed and kept the unwanted procedure a secret from her husband Chris Henchy, 60, for a long time.
The film star has daughters Rowan, 20, and Grier, 18, with Henchy and last year sparked controversy when she revealed she still shares a bed with them.
She told SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show: “My youngest daughter just turned 18. You know, the moment my husband is on any kind of work trip or goes or something, you know, still sleep in bed with me
“We still watch rom-coms. They are mine babies and they will never be”.
Both Rowan and Grier started college at autumnprompting Brooke to admit that she wasn’t ready to leave the house.
She said: “Yeah, I’ve been avoiding thinking about it because people will say, ‘Oh, you’re going to be so relieved’ and I just don’t see that happening.
“I was like, ‘Well, they’ll still come back,’ and by the way, the cost of living in this city is so prohibitive anyway that it might work in my favor.”
