A young mum has revealed she ‘almost died’ after going under the knife for a Brazilian butt lift in Turkey.
Sophie Dewey, from Southampton, revealed cosmetic surgery gone wrong and he developed sepsis.
The mother of two took her TikTok @sophiadeweyx to talk about her BBL nightmare.
In a video, which has amassed over 1.4 million views, Sophie showed clips from after her operation, in which fat is removed from other parts of the body and injected directly into the gluteal muscles themselves, giving them a larger, more curved form.
She captioned the video, “I’m often asked about what happened after my BBL. Choose safely and be aware of the risks.’
In the video he wrote: “The time I went to Turkey for a BBL and almost died.

Sophie was ready to go home but felt something was wrong saying: “My hip started to get really hot.”
She shared a snap of her leg, which had developed a large red bump on her thigh.
He continued: “I woke up in hospital after emergency surgery. Oh dear I have sepsis.’
She then had to undergo another surgery, but moments later, we saw her advantage grow, as she shared, “She’s feeling so much better.”
Sarah explained that after two weeks she was able to walk again and was able to leave the hospital.

Brazilian butt lift surgery uses liposuction to remove fat from the lower body, and then the extracted fat is cleaned and injected into specific areas on the buttocks to achieve the desired shape and size.
He said: “After two weeks I was able to walk again. To make myself at home. I’m glad to be alive and allowed to leave, with my bike of course. The staff were all amazing, very grateful.’
Filming herself in the mirror to show off her new figure, she wrote: ‘Silly girl. I will not do it again”.
