Sam Burgess and his wife Lucy Graham were literally glowing when they tied the knot in Rome, Italy on Sunday.
The former NRL star and his sweetheart looked picture perfect as they tied the knot at the Villa Aurelia – a 17th-century baroque property that sits at the highest point inside Rome’s walls.
Lucy spent months preparing herself for her big day by getting micro needling to improve the appearance of her skin.
The minimally invasive procedure, which involves inserting thin short needles into the skin, helps minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin texture and enlarged pores.
In May, the 33-year-old shared a photo of her glowing skin after cosmetic surgery.
“I’ve been going to see the girls at Palm Tree Skin Monthly since we moved back to the UK 7 months ago,” she wrote at the time.
“I went to Victoria looking sun damaged, hormonal and dull with so much dead skin build up, but after following a customized treatment plan my skin feels better than it has in a long time.”
“A favorite treatment of mine is Micro Needling. The results are immediate (even if a little red at first) and gets even better with time.’

Lucy also revealed her noticeably plumper cheeks and taut face, possibly the result of other injectables such as Botox and/or filler.
She also appeared to have had some teeth whitening done, showing off her sparkling smile in their wedding photos.
Meanwhile, her new husband Sam also showed off his new smile after fixing a gaping front tooth he’s had for years.
Sam rocked a series of clear braces while on holiday with Lucy in June.
And the sports star couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he showed off his new teeth on his wedding day.

Lucy had also been in top form before her wedding, recently completing the Leeds Marathon in May.
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty also shared a time-lapse video on Instagram of herself doing her make-up ahead of her big day.
In the video, she showed off her natural beauty before the makeup artist expertly applied makeup to her face.
She used Bobbi Brown vitamin-enriched serum, Benefit Cosmetic eye and face cream as a base before applying Estee Lauder’s futuristic hydra foundation.
Lucy also used Estee Lauder bronze goddess, Patrick Ta Beauty ‘she’s blushing’ and natural individual lashes.

She wore her frosted hair down for the ceremony and let her loose curls fall around her shoulders.
Lucy looked heavenly on Sunday in a champagne-hued gown by designer Paula Nadal that featured a structured bodice that flowed into a voluminous floor-length skirt.
She added a touch of drama to her look with a long veil that fell behind her, also reaching the floor, while holding an elegant bouquet.

Meanwhile, Sam appeared to channel the fictional James Bond character in a tailored black suit teamed with a white pocket square.
The couple also made sure their one-year-old daughter Robbie was an integral part of the day’s celebrations.
Sam proposed to Lucy last June, just nine months after they went public with their relationship.
He previously revealed he was extremely nervous when he asked the glamorous hairstylist to marry him.
Sam also has two children: daughter Poppy and son Billy with ex-wife Phoebe Burgess. They were married for four years before splitting in 2019.
