Hollywood titan Brad Pitt has shocked the world with his new and incredibly youthful appearance that seems to have turned back his biological clock.
Appearing on the red carpet to promote his new film Wolfs alongside George Clooney, Pitt faced claims from fans that he was a real-life Benjamin Button with the 60-year-old looking several years younger than he did just two years ago.
Now leading cosmetologist Dr Jonny Betteridge has highlighted the series of procedures he believes may explain Pitt’s radical anti-aging transformation.
One of the key processes Dr. Betteridge highlighted in a clip that has been viewed more than 20,000 times on TikTok it was a blepharoplasty, also known as an eyelid lift.
This procedure, which costs up to £6,000 in the UK, removes excess skin from the eyelids to reduce the signs of ageing.
In particular, Dr Betteridge suspects that Pitt has opted for a thinner lower blepharoplasty, which explains the natural look.
While a full blepharoplasty changes both the upper and lower eyelids, Dr Betteridge said men should be careful about changing the upper eyelid as it can have unwanted effects.
“For male patients, it can feminize their face and be a gift that they’ve had their work done,” she said.
At 60, Brad Pitt has been hailed as the real-life Benjamin Button as he appears to be aging in reverse, although a British plastic surgeon suspects a series of operations is behind the “impressive” transformation. Pitt is pictured here in December 2022 (left) versus September 2024 (right)
Comparing photos of Pitt from before July 2023, when rumors first surfaced that he had undergone plastic surgery, Dr Bettridge felt the star had had a number of procedures which had led to a “significant improvement in his appearance”.
These included facial fat grafting, where fat taken from other areas of the body is injected into the face to add volume, combined with a face and neck lift.
Dr Betteridge also suggested that Pitt had veneers fitted — custom-made porcelain shells that are bonded to the front of the teeth to improve their appearance.
Overall, he gave a glowing review of the transformation.
“The changes in the jawline and neck area are really impressive and create a more defined and structured look,” she said.
He added that Pitt was an “excellent example of a male who has undergone plastic surgery because he still retains his facial features, but he just looks more refreshed.”
This isn’t the first time Pitt, who famously played a man who ages in reverse in 2008’s The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, has been suspected of going under the knife to improve his looks.
Dr Betteridge had previously suggested that Pitt had undergone a £100,000 facelift.
Appearing on the red carpet to promote his new film ‘Wolfs’ alongside co-star George Clooney, 63, Pitt shocked fans with his youthful appearance.

Pitt played the eponymous character in 2008’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, about a man who ages in reverse – and now fans call him “the real-life Benjamin Button”.
Sources close to the star have dismissed theories that she had a facelift.
Pete has previously spoken about his laid-back attitude growing up.
In a 2019 interview with Esquire magazine, he said, “You get older, you get crazier, and comfort becomes more important. I think it’s that simple.”
When asked about his beauty regimen, he hilariously said: ‘I grew up with a country mentality, you know, soap once a day and then continue…
“And I think we learn that if we love ourselves, if we treat ourselves a little bit better, then there are long-term benefits from that. So we’re just aging healthy, aging in a healthy way.’
