Celebrity Big Brother star Mario Falcone has shared the results of his plastic surgery on social media.
The former Towie legend, 36, posted a revealing video about getting upper and lower eyelid surgery on his Instagram account.
The procedure involves removing excess skin or fat from the eyelids and changes the appearance of hooded or drooping eyelids or eye bags, according to NHS.
His 1.1 million followers commented that he looked unrecognizable after the eyelid procedure, with @missladders remarking: “You look completely different!”
Echoing their sentiment, @adriquit exclaimed: “Oh my god this popped up on my feed and I had to look up who it was, totally different person!”
@mcgoldrick.angela added: “Always so beautiful xx.”
@juliarachX also commented: “Amazing results! I didn’t even know that was a thing! … Time to start saving.’
In the clip, Mario explained that he spent £3,700 on upper and lower eyelid surgery as he wanted to look ‘refreshed and younger’.
He said he felt self-conscious about looking “tired and older than his age”, particularly after having daughter Cali Roux, one, and son Parker Jax, four, with wife Becky Miesner.
Mario insisted he felt “no pain at all” during the operation and “didn’t feel anything”, but spent two days in bed recovering.
He added that it took a total of 10 days for the swelling and bruising to go down.
Mario isn’t the only celeb to reveal a new look after plastic surgery this month.
Katie Price, 46, has been spotted who walked out of a clinic in Turkey after her sixth facelift.
Last year, Katie’s mum Amy said her daughter had body dysmorphia, “a mental health condition where a person spends a lot of time worrying about flaws in their appearance which are often invisible to others”, according to the NHS.
Speaking to Vanessa Feltz, Amy said: ‘I absolutely hate it [when Katie gets surgery] and he knows it.
“I think she and I got her to admit it the other day, ‘you have a body deformity.’
She continued: “You know you look fine, but why do you think you need to change that, get a tattoo or change her hair?”
Amy went on to explain how she thinks Katie’s desire for surgeries comes from being “upset” or “hurt.”
She said: “I think when there are moments of upheaval or when she’s not feeling well or needs comfort in some way or is hurt, she does that because she thinks she’s in control of herself.”
