Former Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen has shocked his fans with his new look after joining Italian side Inter Milan.
The Dutchman was the Toffees’ most expensive arrival in the summer of 2017, for a fee of £24m from Ajax, but has failed to impress in a disappointing season for the Merseyside club, considering their heavy spending.
Starting the campaign under Ronald Koeman, Klaassen made just 16 appearances in all competitions and failed to score a goal in almost 1,000 minutes of action.
Klaassen moved to Bundesliga side Werder Bremen the following season and spent two years with the Germans before returning to Ajax in 2020, where he added two more Eredivisie titles to his collection.
Then came his move to Simone Inzaghi’s Inter on a free transfer last summer and it seems that somewhere along the way the Netherlands international has undergone an impressive transformation.
Davy Klaassen returned to Ajax in 2020 after an unsuccessful spell with Everton and two years in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen.

During his time on Merseyside, Klaassen’s hair appeared to be thinning, a point that only got worse in the following years with his time in Germany and back in Holland.
Even when he signed for the Italian team, his hair looked pretty unchanged from previous years.
However, having turned out for the Serie A leaders at several points this season, it’s clear his hair is back in full swing.
Not only does Klaassen look much younger than he did during his time in England, he looks almost unrecognizable from the figure he cut at Goodison Park.
Fans reacted with surprise to his transformation and took to social media to comment on his new look. One wrote on X, ex-Twitter: “Hope for us all.”

Unfortunately, limited minutes on the field is a recurring issue. Inzaghi has almost exclusively used Klaassen off the bench, starting him in just one of his seven league appearances.
In fact, the former Ajax man has failed to come off the bench 14 times this season as Inter continue to ride high at the top of Serie A.
Klaassen has at least got his hands on some silverware this term, with Inter triumphing over Napoli in the Supercoppa last month.
