A Brazilian doctor and influencer is ruing the day she took Ozempic to shed a few pounds from her already skinny frame after learning she couldn’t get a butt implant.
Dayanne Bezerra broke down in tears Monday after visiting a clinic and being told by a surgeon that she was not a candidate for a butt lift because the muscles had lost tone and strength.
“Guys, I just went to the doctor because I wanted implants in my butt, right, and reconstruction because I lost a lot of weight,” she told her 4 million followers via Instagram Stories on Monday.
“The doctor said my butt was atrophying. Can you believe it? And the doctor already knows me. He knows my body. He asked me what was wrong with me.
“I’m so sad in the world that my butt was atrophying. And she didn’t even get implants to fix it. He’s not going to fix it, he’s not going to do anything. This is for me “.

In a second video, Bezerra is seen crying over her appearance.
“Guys, I’m so sad, you have no idea. How can a person lose weight to look beautiful and look ugly?’ she said as she walked down the aisle of a local mall. ‘I am ugly.’
Bezerra appeared to get over her heartbreak with a shopping trip with friends at Louis Vuitton.
She came under fire in May 2023 when she was filmed injecting herself with Ozempic, the prescription drug that treats type 2 diabetes, at an airport.
The video went viral on social media, prompting him to make a public statement and clear up any confusion it may have caused.
“Guys, there’s a page posting that I’m getting my Ozempic at the airport. Yes guys, I got my Ozempic at the airport,” he said. “My life is busy, I had forgotten mine at home and bought another one at the pharmacy, but I am not taking Ozempic on my advice.
“I have a prescription from my nutritionist where he prescribes Ozempic for weight loss. And so, as far as I know, the drug is not banned for weight loss. It is used for other treatments.”

Semaglutide (sold as Ozempic and Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro) have been hailed as breakthroughs in the fight against obesity.
The pills, taken once a day, mimic a hormone called GLP-1 and trick the brain and body into thinking they are full, curbing appetite.
Tests show that semaglutide, made by the Danish company Novo Nordisk, helps users lose up to 33 kilograms on average in about a year.
Side effects of the jabs, including bloating, nausea and acid reflux, have long been noted by the government’s drug watchdog the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
A growing number of Ozempic users on social media have also complained of being left with gaunt facial features, sagging ‘melted wax’ skin, ’empty’ breasts and hair loss – which are not believed to be a direct side effect of the drug but a consequence of the dramatic weight loss .
Some patients have strangely claimed that Ozempic injections have caused them to act “out of character,” engage in risky sex, compulsive gambling, or even make rash major life decisions like filing for divorce.
They believe changes in levels of the brain chemical dopamine, possibly linked to the piercings, may be behind the issue, contributing to the ever-growing list of downsides.
The London researchers say patients should be warned about the possibility of these strange reactions, known collectively as impulse control disorder, before starting the drugs.
