Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly seen assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in video

Sean “Diddy” Combs was apparently filmed assaulting his ex Cassie Ventura.
In a 2016 surveillance video obtained by CNN on May 17, a man who would be the rapper—who has been the subject of legal charges in recent months— can be seen running down a hallway with a towel after the “Me & U” singer before grabbing her, pulling her to the ground and kicking her repeatedly. The video also shows him picking up the bags Cassie was carrying and dragging her by the sweatshirt.
Later in the sequence, that E! The news has not been independently verified, Diddy appears to pick up an object off a table and throw it at Cassie.
“The heartbreaking video only confirmed Mr. Combs’ disturbing and predatory behavior,” Cassie’s attorney said. Douglas H. Wigdor told CNN. “Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
E! News reached out to reps for Diddy and Cassie, who were a couple for over a decade starting in 2007, and have yet to receive a response.
The surveillance video emerged six months after Cassie filed a lawsuit on Nov. 16 against her ex, accusing him of rape and abuse. what he denied. The two men settled the lawsuit a day later in an undisclosed agreement, although Diddy’s legal team said the settlement was not an admission of wrongdoing.
