Dorit Kemsley she just renewed her smile.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills The star, 43, got candid about one of her biggest insecurities—her teeth—and why she finally decided to get veneers at the Beverly Hills cosmetic dentist Dr. Sam Selah.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Kemsley explained that growing up she was lucky to never need braces and had very few cavities. But over the years, her dentists suggested she wear a night guard to prevent her teeth from getting smaller over time due to excessive grinding.
“But I didn’t like the thought so I never did anything about it. 🤦🏼♀️,” Kemsley wrote in the post. “As the years went by, I noticed that my teeth looked smaller and smaller and I started to have sensitivity that became more and more uncomfortable over time.”
Eventually the dentists told her it had gotten to the point that veneers were “inevitable” because she grinded her teeth so much. A close friend introduced the Bravo star to Dr. Saleh, and after seeing how “good and natural” his work was, she knew she had to do her veneers, too.
Kemsley’s husband, Paul Kemsley, decided to get veneers with her, and they both “couldn’t be happier with the results,” she said. “Thanks @drsamsaleh and the team @drsamsaleh_aesthetics who made me feel so comfortable every step of the way and who gave me back my smile that I had been missing for a while.”
In her Instagram slideshow, Kemsley shared a series of videos from multiple visits to Dr. Saleh. During this time, she was fitted with temporary veneers and the couple carefully reviewed photographs of her smile to decide how to adjust the length for her permanent veneers. “I feel like all of this should be a little bit more,” Kemsley said as she and Dr. Saleh discussed her smile.

The day she received her final veneers, Kemsley couldn’t contain her excitement. “Finally see my new smile!” he said. “I love it. Dr. Saleh, thank you. I’m obsessed.”
“You’re the easiest patient I’ve ever dealt with!” Dr. Saleh replied.
During Wednesday night’s episode Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohena viewer asked fellow Beverly Hills housewife Kyle Richards if she had any scoop on Kemsley’s new look.
“Dorit has been getting a lot of flack on the internet lately for either photoshopping her pictures too much or doing work,” asked the onlooker. “Do you know what’s going on there? Has he done anything in quarantine?”
But Richards wasn’t going to reveal any new details about her friend. “God, I can’t spread information like this!” he said. “I don’t know, but I think she recognized that she was teething or something? So, maybe? She’s not texting me, like, ‘This is what I’m doing or, you know, what’s going on.'”
Richards actually knows a thing or two about Kemsley’s recent dental experience — this one got veneer in 2018 by cosmetic dentist Dr. Michael Apa based in New York.
