Patrick and Brittany Mahomes kept it designer for an American Express event in Miami, Fla. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback wore Christian Dior skater sneakers, while his wife chose a pair of black patent leather platform sandals from Miu Miu to the event on Saturday.
Patrick is a fan of luxury sneakers, having worn styles from Dior and Versace in the past.
Dubbed Carbone Beach, the event was a supper club that is held during Formula One in Miami. It is a Miami Beach pop-up that has featured performances by the likes of Diana Ross, Wyclef Jean and Lauryn Hill. The event lasts for four nights and this year is the third iteration. The night that the Mohomes’s attended, Pitbull performed and LeBron James was another VIP.
For the dinner, Patrick wore Dior’s B9S limited edition sneaker. With each pair numbered, the shoe features silver-tone cotton tweed paneling and calfskin detailing. The chunky shoe — appropriate as it is inspired by skater shoes — features a rubber Dior charm signature on the side as well as the Dior signature on the padded tongue. Each she also has a secure NFC chip embedded inside. Only 888 pairs were produced.
The sneaker retails for $1,900.
Wife Brittany opted for more than a few extra inches for the night. Her Miu Miu sandals feature a square peep toe and a block heel. The patent leather shoes also notably have a 5.25 inch heel and a 1.5 inch platform. The black ankle buckle and black Miu Miu logo on the heel complete the design.
The heel retails for $1,250.
Patrick Mahomes Sneaker Impact
Though Patrick Mahomes has developed a considerable amount of attention for what he wears off the field, the athlete is signed to Adidas. He signed to the brand in 2017 via a multi-million dollar contract, releasing his first signature shoe in 2021. I’ve dreamed about this since I was a little kid,” he wrote about the Mahomes 1 Impact FLX on social media at the time.
In 2023, he released a new colorway featuring Kansas City Chiefs colors. Ahead of the Super Bowl this year, Adidas unveiled a second signature shoe, the Mahomes 2 Impact FLX. The shoe sold out within minutes after the February launch. Mahomes and the Chiefs also won the Super Bowl.
