It’s the start of graduation season, and new grads would be hard-pressed to find a better city than Miami to start their careers, according to a new study.
Online English learning platform Preply analyzed the 75 largest US cities based on job opportunities, cultural and social environment, quality of life, educational and professional development, ecosystems technology and innovation, as well as diversity and inclusion, and Miami ranked No. 1.
The study follows a similar from Apartment Advisor, which ranked Miami No. 7 for recent graduates.
In Preply’s analysis, Miami earned high marks for its large professional population and higher education career opportunities. The city has the most colleges and higher education institutions, at 12.27 per 100,000 residents, and the most coworking spaces of any city, at 57.87 per 100,000 residents. .
Rounding out the top five cities in the Preply rankings are Washington, DC; Los Angeles; St. Paul, Minnesota; and San Francisco.
