WTVJ anchor Kristin Sanchez will leave her current role as morning anchor and reporter to host Miami NBC-owned station’s new show, South Florida Live.
The show will premiere on Monday, June 19 and air weekdays at 12:30 p.m. on live, mobile, digital and streaming platforms (check local listings).

Sanchez joined WTVJ in 2018 as a traffic anchor and reporter.
“For the past five years, viewers have started their mornings with Kristin. In her new role, she will take viewers on a guided tour showcasing our region and what makes it unique,” said Sara Ahmad-Visomirskivice president of creative services for NBC6 and Telemundo 51. “South Florida Live will be our daily connection to all things South Florida, and we can’t wait for our viewers to tune in.”
Produced by WTVJ from the station’s studios in Miramar, Florida, viewers will be able to watch South Florida Live on-air, on the station’s digital and mobile platforms and on its NBC South Florida News streaming channel, available on Peacock , The Roku.
