Katie Price has confessed her panic after nearly choking on medical gauze following a nose job.
The 45-year-old reality star – who has undergone various Plastic surgery surgeries over the years – currently recovering from a rhinoplasty, she had to repair what she felt was a “distressed” nose caused by surgery she had on her lips a few years ago.
The price was revealed on her podcast The Katie Price Show that she was starting to choke on the gauze she used to pack her nose after surgery.

The model and mother-of-five told her sister Sophie Price: ‘They stuff your nose properly with it and you have to leave it in until you get the stitches out.
“I’m in the car swallowing and I kept coughing thinking ‘What’s stuck in my throat?’
“I looked in the mirror and it was a little bit of string and I thought, ‘Did I just swallow something?'” So I pulled it off and it was gauze coming out of the back of my throat!
“I was like, ‘I’m drowning, what should I do?’ I’m not allowed to take it off.”
“I grabbed it and pulled it off and it looked like a wad of snot. So I took the other one out, thinking, ‘Have I ruined my nose now?’
“I called the surgeon and he said you’ll be fine, just don’t blow your nose or try to wash it because it’s all raw.
“So now I can breathe better, finally smell and taste food and sleep without waking up with a dry mouth.
“But I’ve healed really well. I thought I’d have a black eye and everything.”
Price explained why she had the surgery.
He said: “The real reason I did it is because when I went to Turkey a few years ago and there was a new thing called a ‘lip lift’. It’s like a bull horn lift, where they cut under your nose and it lifts. your lips.
“But they cut it out. The scar was bad and it broke. I wanted to do it again because I thought it made my nose ragged.
“So I actually broke it. I’ve never broken it before. I don’t know what it’s like and I don’t know what to expect. I just said ‘make my nose look beautiful’. I don’t know what it looks like, I don’t know what to expect. I’ll let’s see when the mask comes off in a few days.”
Price has had several cosmetic procedures in the past, including several breast enhancements, liposuction, eye and lip lifts, liposuction under her chin, and fat injection in her bottom.
She said recently: “I’m never happy. When we were in the make-up room, I was looking in the mirror and I thought ‘I’m so ugly’.
“Now I look in the mirror and think, ‘Argh, not in the face anymore’, because you have that surgery ‘look’ and I have.

“Not that it bothers me, I’ve done that to myself, but sometimes you have to pull back a little.”
